A nice 78 degree start to a cloudy day on the Northwest Florida Gulf Coast. Exercises are gong very well. Weight is trending down. Calories remain blow 1300. Trivia is still at 98%.
Thanks to the tenacity we have, all our terminal documents are complete now that we have the ladybird quit claim deed recorded with the county authorities. This keeps the courts out of our inheritable real estate holding. We tried to set up as much as possible the things we could to avoid probate. It is a necessary game that has to be played.
We want all our things as stated, to go to either surviving spouse and some items immediately go to our daughters, then when the both of us are called back home, all goes to our daughters and then to the three grandchildren. Everything stays in the direct bloodline as my wife desired. We were fortunate to stumble on to legal services through the senior center. They have done all this for us at no cost to us. It only cost me $12,70 to record the deed. That was a huge savings for us. It does complete one chapter in our lives that had to be addressed. We all tend to try and avoid this. With the situation with my wife's sister who is critically ill in the hospital critically ill, it is another example why we have to be ready at all times for the unexpected. I am sure that family is not ready with all the necessary documents at this time. We are praying for her recovery which is in doubt at the moment.
We also have to complete our preparations for Halloween. We have some spray painting of small pumpkins to do to complete the outdoor tic tac toe game I have prepared. We also have a couple of metal decorations that need a new coat of orange paint. We also have to go into Fort Walton "Beach to Sam's Club and get some rolls and go to Publix and order a meat tray to have for all who will be gathering on our front deck as they do every year. It should be a great time as long as we do not get any bad news.
Praying for good news and a great weekend for all. Keeping focused for success.
