So I have to tell you all... I broke up with the boyfriend last weekend. It was just all a little too much, too soon for me. I'm very happy with my decision though.
I'm happy single. I have a new house. I love my cats. I love being able to focus on my diet and exercise. I just like being single.
I know one day I will meet the guy that I want to incorporate in to all of that, but I'm in no rush.
So for now, I'm starting half marathon training on Saturday. I've been killing my food and workouts.
Oh and I'm in love with the holiday season. Christmas movies, peppermint mochas (skinny), decorating, family time, and anything else holiday related.
Life is Good.

So I woke up Sunday morning very excited for the Rennaissance Festival, if only because I love going every year, but also Adam had never been so it was exciting to let him experience it for the first time!
I gave him a time of 10:30 to be at my house, knowing that he probably wouldn't be there until 11. He calls me at 10 just to let me know he was actually going to be there at 10:30 so to be ready for him. And he was a few minutes EARLY! The talk worked! (so far)
We made our way up to the Festival and started the adventure. We started off at the psychic who did a couple reading and proceeded to tell us that we are going to move in together in the next couple months, we will have a fast and long lasting romance, and so on and so forth. I don't buy the psychic thing, but it was cute because he was not weird about it and was actually getting in to it.
Then we played a bunch of shooting, throwing, tossing, shooting, shooting games! Hahah he is all about the bow and arrows, guns, swords, but he's a guy so that makes sense! Then once they started serving beer we got a couple Pumpkin beers a piece. YUM!
My best friend texted me that she was there too, so we decided to meet up with her and her husband. Me and my best friend are like joined at the hip and talk and laugh nonstop when we're together. This was a good test to put him through. We all ended up having a lot of fun. My best friend's husband gave Adam a good tip: When they are together you don't exist, you just have to get used to that. Haha I wouldnt say that extreme, but its kind of true! She's my friend soul mate! Anyway we all had lunch (turkey legs and sausage on a stick! hah), played some games, and went and watched jousting together. So fun! Then we went our separate ways.
Me and Adam shopped around a bit and ended the day getting Henna tattooes on the same spot together. We were sitting on a bench near the place waiting on our hennas to dry and were being really cute and touchy feely and finally just put his hand on my face and kissed me. It was so cute and sweet. After it he looked at me and said "you're so gorgeous," which was so perfect in the moment. And then I said "don't lie" hahah i'm such a romantic! I think i'm missing that gene, but we both laughed and kissed again.
He told me he really wanted to kiss me on top of the mountain, but I'm hard to read. I told him I'm glad he didn't because that wasn't the right moment and this definitely was the right moment.
I started to get a really bad migraine, so we had to leave at that time. I ended up getting carsick on the way back because of the migraine and we had to stop so i could use the restroom at a gas station to get sick. Not the best way to end the day, but he was being very caring and patient with me. So he dropped me off at home and he told me to call him when I felt better, which I did after about thirty minutes laying in the pitch dark!
Overall it was a perfect day and I wouldn't change anything about it. Even getting sick. Its always good to see how a man will react in that situation. He did wonderfully.
Next weekend he wants to take me paintballing because its one of his favorite things to do. He bought me a paintball gun last night apparently. My guy friend told me that's a big deal and it means he likes me! Hahah good to know! I get to plan Saturday since he's got Sunday figured out already. I think I'm going to take us to this wonderful BBQ restaurant Saturday night and then to the Amazing Maize Maze after that for some Flashlight Adventure through a corn maze! What's funny is that with anyone else I would be afraid that it would be too "corny" (i know i'm funny) but I love that he loves doing the corny things with me!
Oh and we don't really hang out during the week right now. He works third shift, so its really hard to make the time. We could do dinner, but I don't feel the need to constantly waste money on going out to eat. Plus, absence makes the heart grow fonder and I definitely do miss him right now and can't wait for the weekend to roll around. I'm sure once we're more comfortable being together we will stay at each other's places. But I don't want to rush that part, I'm taking my time!
So that's my update. I will definitely keep yall posted with any new and exciting progressions! :)

So I was very nervous about this weekend. We (me and Adam, the new boy) would be spending two days in a row together for long periods of time! (I can be a bit of a commitment-phobe if you canˇ¦t tell! Haha) He was planning Saturday and I was planning Sunday.
So I wake up Saturday morning to a text from Adam with a Youtube link and the subject of the text says "so you've seen me at my worst." Apparently he thought it would be funny to me to send me a video of him and his friends where he is throwing up. Granted, I did not watch it because I could tell what was coming and I didn't want to puke first thing in the morning. My first thought is WHY??? Why would he send me a disgusting video?? Does he not want to impress me?? Does he think of me like a guy friend?? Is he just plain stupid?? So I text him "Did you really send me a video of you puking? I didn't watch because that's gross. I'm not one of your guy friends in case you forgot. :)" Not too mean, but getting the point across. Well we talk about it later and he says he just thought it would be funny and he wasn't even really thinking about it and now he feels silly. I told him it was okay, but I'm just a girly girl and those types of things definitely turn me off. Point taken I believe! Hahah
So he was 24 minutes late coming to get me for the hike. That normally wouldn;t bother me once, but that's the third date and the third time he's been late. I decided I had to make him aware of my frustration or else this just wouldn't work. I told him that I just think being late is disrespectful to the person youˇ¦re meeting, whether it's a friend, coworker, girlfriend. Doesn't matter. I can not deal with a person that is always late. He said he wouldn't let it happen again and he understood.
Obviously our day was off to a rather rocky start, although we both talked very rationally about the situations. I believe we are both mature enough to have conversations about our frustrations! (well mine hahah) But he told me he had a surprise for me (yay surprises!!!) when we got to the top of the mountain! I WAS very excited to hike. I love Crowder's Mountain, I love the fall, and I love a great workout! It was one mile to the top, yep you heard that right, ONE MILE TO THE TOP. Our butts were walking straight up that dang mountain! And it was awesome!! We both were a little sweaty and beat when we got up there, but it was great. He found a little spot for us to put a blanket and look at the gorgeous view. THEN he busted out 4 mini wine bottles. HAHAHA he is my perfect match!!!! We were being criminals by drinking there, which I love to break the rules!! But we were also doing something active and healthy by hiking. Such a great moment. We sat there for a while, but no kiss. Apparently I'm hard to read (oops!!!) The hike down was so greaatttt! We were both a tiny bit buzzed and just enjoying each other's company. Plus we were both really excited for the next day.. the Carolina Renaissance Festival!! (to be continued...)
