Update on Daughters Surgery

Thursday, January 12, 2012

Thank you for dropping by and thank you for all the prayers and good thoughts.
You all have been very kind!
Yesterday they got her up and wanted her to walk but when she got up she started bleeding from the incision area so the put her back in bed. But she is is good spirits and that is a good thing for her.
Her incision is about 9 inches long they did a longer cut because it was considered exploratory surgery. They weren't sure of where she was bleeding when they cut her open.
Anyway, she is getting better day by day!
Again, I thank you for all your prayers.
((HUGS)) to you all.

Father God help us to recognize that everyday is a gift & rejoice in that gift. We pray for your power to raise people up in your power. We ask you to touch those that need comfort from fear, or loss of a loved one, or for those in pain for a healing heart. And we pray for their quick recovery. We pray for those who take care of others, and those whom need caring, removing soreness & their pain. We pray for those that need your strength to see themselves as your children, washed, and beautiful inside and out. We pray for those that need a job, to sustain their families. We pray for the strength needed on this team (Natural Remedies, Natural Health) to continue to fight the good fight. And we appreciate the great work they have done to strengthen our spirits & health. Jesus we know you are in control of every nation, and we pray you raise up everyman in your power to seek you & be stirred up. That they pray & love abounds in your church. Awaken those who have become dull, blinded by the enemy. We pray for the holy spirit that leads us. We pray it leads us as your people in Jesus Christ Amen. emoticon

Update on Friends Heart

Friday, January 06, 2012

First of all I want to Thank you all for visiting my blog. I don't do them very often. LOL

I have spoken with Barbara a few times now and she seems to be getting more spark in her voice.
And a tiny little spring in her step.
But knowing her as I do I hope she doesn't start to over do it and hurt herself again.
She can be so stubborn! LOL But I love her.
Thank you all for your prayers and good thoughts.
And also thank you for not believing the person who posted some negative things about Barbara that wasn't true. I chalk it all up to medications, Pain pills to be exact that she is on. When you take those types of meds you destroy your brain cells and who knows what in your body. Those pain meds make you goofy!
Anyway, thanks for the positive thoughts and prayers. And I hope you day is a super one!
((HUGS)) to all of you!

Thank You E.J. and Yes Praise God!
This stubborn farm girl is getting stronger everyday by the grace of God, the amazing doctors and mostly from all the wonder friends that have spent hours in prayer for me! Prayer does work, God listens, for some reason He was not through with me yet!

I am taking thins slow, I am up to 500 steps a day!( this is either outside or a slow walk on the treadmill) WOOHOO! Almost a marathon! I am allowed to do 30 minutes of mild cardio a day.

I will be back stronger and better before long.

God Bless you all !

Prayers are needed for a Dear Friend!

Friday, December 30, 2011

Please anyone reading this blog pray for my friend Barbara (CRAZYGAGRANNY). I got an email from her this evening.

This is what it said.....
Only a short note. Not allowed up yet. Talked to you Christmas day, then every thing went bad. Had a massive heart attack. Had quadruple bypass. Please alert everyone for me. Not allowed on computer..or phone yet. slipped in here to let you know.
Just got home from hospital today. Love you.

Now as most of you know, this lady is a special friend of mine and I have spoken with her almost daily for over 2 years now. The last I spoke with her was on Christmas Eve and haven't been able to get in touch with her since. I knew something was wrong but she wasn't answering her phone?? How could I have known ??

Anyway, I am asking for your help in prayers for Barbara, Charles (hubby) and her grandson Phillip. Not to mention the rest of her family.
Let me thank you in advance for your support.
((HUGS)) from me the distraught friend!!!

UPDATE:
1/2/2012
Barbara is doing better she is healing day by day! If only someone here on Spark would stop spreading the nasty rumor that she didn't really have surgery and No heart attack. I have spoke with her and her family and she has the staples all down her chest and the doctors took the stents from her legs for the quadruple bypass. How can someone be so cruel to say things like that about someone like Barbara??? Or anyone for that matter! :-(
We love you Barbara!! Get well soon!

A Beautiful Parable

Thursday, January 13, 2011

This was given to me and I just had to share with you all.
I hope this works!

A beautiful Parable

A woman came out of her house and saw 3 old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard. She didn't recognized them. She Said, "I don't think I know you, but you must be hungary. Please come in and have something to eat."
"Is the man of the house home?", they asked, "No", she replied. "he's out". "Then we cannot come in" he replied.

In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had happend.
"Go tell them I am home and invite them in!" The woman went out and invited the men in.
"We do not go into a house together," they replied.
"Why is that?", she asked.
One of the old men explained: "His name is Wealth," pointing to one of his friends, and said pointing to another, "He is Success, and I am Love." Then he added, "Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of us you want in your home. "

The woman went in and told her husband what was said. Her husband was over joyed. "How nice" he said. "Since that is the case let us invite wealth!"
His wife disagreed, "My dear why don't we invite Success?" Their daughter-in-law was listening from the other corner of the house. She jumped in with her own suggestion: 'Would it not be better to invite LOVE? Our Home would be filled with LOVE!"

"Let us heed our daughter-in-law's advice," said the husband to the wife.
"Go out and invite LOVE to be our guest"
The woman went out and ask the 3 old men, "Which one of you is LOVE? PLease come in and be our guest".
LOVE got up and started walking towards the house. The other two got up and started to follow him. Surprise, the lady asked Wealth and Success:
I only invited LOVE why are you coming in?"

The old men replied together: "If you had invited Wealth or Success, the other two of us would have stayed out, but since you invited love, wherever he goes, we go with him.
Wherever there is Love there is Wealth and Success!!!!

MY WISH FOR YOU....
*Where there is Pain, I wish you Peace and Mercy.
*Where there is self doubting, I wish you Renewed Self Confidence in your ability to work through it.
*Where there is Tiredness, or Exhaustion, I wish you Understanding, Patience and Renewed Strength.
*Where there is Fear, I wish you Love and Courage!

You have 2 choices right now!
1. Click this off.
2. Invite Love by sharing this story with all the people you care about!

LIFE ISN'T ABOUT WAITING FOR THE STORM TO PASS...

As soon as I heard the three name I said I choose LOVE. For that is all I ever wanted in life. Growning up wasn't a life any one would want. I was skinny but considered the healthest one of the 8 my mother had. So I was the cook, house cleaner, washed everyone clothes and ironed them...no dryers...all this I never complained for I knew some day I would be able to take care of my own place. It was that I felt I wasn't loved only the other seven. I had to take their spanking and if I fell while being spanked I got kicked. I wanted to find where Roy Rogers lived for he took other boys and girls in. Going out and sitting on the big rock out in the back I was asking God please help me got live with R.R. Well of course I never got there. When 18 tried to pack my car trunk with my clothes and leave. Mother caught me. Won't say what happened. But she did leave for the store and I got into my car and left. I had a job outside the home at the time.
I don't ask for anything back for what I do for others. I just want everyone to be happy and treat each other with love.
This was beautiful.

What beautiful pictures and such an AWESOME blog. Thank you for sharing this with us. Although the tears were running down my face, I feel blessed to have read this. It also brought smiles to my face. THANK YOU!!!
Thank you, Diana (4DJSHEART49) for sharing this with me! McKenzie and I truly did dance and sing in our rain today. 57* with light rain late this afternoon as we were on our way to her dance classes. AWESOME!! Melted most of our snow as the sun was shining most of the day although we started the day with an ice storm. Praise God for He is wonderful!!!
Blessings and hugs,
Helen

The Clothesline

Wednesday, May 12, 2010

First I would like to Thank you for stopping by my page.
Can anyone be so excited to have the clothesline installed again? Well for me YES!
I have had a clothes line for many years. I dry as much as I can on the line. From bed linens to all clothes. And my towels. I throw the towels in the dryer on air fluff just to soften them a bit.
I look at it this way, if I am using the line and not the dryer I am saving money. I am getting extra exercise by walking the clothes outside and hanging them. And then taking them off the line is another trip out and back again. So I am being GREEN and doing a little extra to loose the weight I want to loose.
Woo Hoo for me!

I must get out and hang my clothes now that the sunshine is here in Texas. We had a pretty wet spring, but there is no excuse for not hanging them out now. And like you said, it is a good way to lose some weight and save money. Win/win! emoticon

My friend put up a clothes line for me this spring and I love it. I will be a die hard and use it until the snow falls.
Here in northern Nevada clothes dry fast on the line..

I loved having outdoor clothesline. Living in an apt now, there's no way. Years ago we had clotheslines. I remember we lived on a riverbank (the big Salmon River) in Idaho One winter the pump froze up. Mom had two of us about 11 and 12 and two in diapers. We built rock fire rings, made fires from drift wood, put the round galvanized bathtubs on- filled the tubs with water we brought from the river (after we chopped holes in the ice) in buckets. Then Mom assembly lined the two washes and two rinses and then alternated with more fresh water in them, etc. Then we hung clothes, and lots of diapers on the clothes line, which promptly froze stiff. In the kitchen Mom had a clothes line strung across the wood cookstove where diapers were hung a few at a time to dry. We were "poor" as were many of the people in the area who did not have jobs at the saw mills or drove logging trucks. The men all went hunting together and shared the meat and every one shared milk and eggs and fresh veg's. It really was one of the best times in my life. Oh, Oh -- I should have blogged about this on my page. Will do it later.

Anyway, great on the clothesline !!!! Hugs, Echo emoticon emoticon emoticon

YES! I too have a clothes line and love it! There is something about hanging clothes outside to dry. Plus, it's easier to put away since you can fold as you take them down. The only downside I have is my towels, but I can live with that. As you say, even the extra cardio helps.

Onwards...

I use one too. It makes complete sense in every way. It's sad some neighborhoods won't allow them. It seems like saving energy should trump looks at this point in time.

I had a clothes line when I was a kid. I loved it. Now that I am a grown up I can't have one. I seem to always live in a place that doesn't allow it. I think that thinking will change soon.

Yes, I remember the clothes lines. When I was a kid we use put up blankets and blankets and play house. It was fun! Now I live in an apartment so it would be hard for me to have a clothes line now. Those were the good ole days.

I miss having a clothesline. When my daughter was still at home she had so much stuff that couldn't be tried. The house would have her tops hanging on hangers all over the living room in the cold weather. In warmer weather I would hang her stuff from the gazebos in the backyard. Your doing a great job of being green! emoticon
