I had a great January posted highs in miles, minutes and calories burned at the gym. I lost 11 pounds which is a great start to a long, life changing journey. I know there is more work to do. I started this month 239.5 and ended it 227.5. My goal weight is around 190. I do not expect to lose 11 pounds next month. I want to just keep consistently working out and making better food choices. If I do those two things the results will come. I have great friends and family who are so supportive of me and my achievements no matter how small.
I have helped and would love to help others on their journey. I love talking about fitness and nutrition and I keep learning new things about both even after being on this site for five years now. We never stop learning. No matter how much you weight you can do things to help make your life healthier. Small steps do lead to bigger ones. People love to talk about getting in shape but it takes much more to actually accomplish it. Hard work and commitment are both very important parts of the equation. Without both you are going to fail. I have lost the weight before I know I can do it again. It may take longer this time around but I plan on keeping the weight off.
