When we choose our words wisely, God will work through us to strengthen others. When we just throw our words out there thinking only of ourselves, Satan will us our words to hurt others. No matter what we say, our words our strong and powerful either for good or bad. Let’s be sure we use the right words today that will lift up others and encourage them to draw close to God. Our words are to be used for the purpose of strengthening others, encouraging them and building them up in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 14:3 “But one who prophesies strengthens others, encourages them, and comforts them.” (NLT)
Dear Lord, we always want to say and do the right things for You. However, sometimes we say and do things without thinking. And our words come out hurtful rather than helpful. Lord, please give us Your insight and Your wisdom to help others with our words. Show us what words to say that will lift them up and direct them toward You. Allow our words to give them Your answer they need to hear. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
We may not always know the right things to say, but God knows and can help us use our words to encourage others.
When we use our words to help others, God can strengthen both us and them to do what is right.
We can’t predict the outcome of any situation but we do know how to find God’s will in His word and we can direct others to Him in our words.
Our words should be used to lift others up and not put them down.
Our words are to be used for the purpose of strengthening others, encouraging them and building them up in the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 “So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing.” (NLT)

REPETITION BRINGS STRENGTH
Bodybuilders know repeating a move over and over will strengthen their muscles. When they are consistent and work out regularly, they become stronger and stronger and are able to handle more and more weight. With repetition, comes strength. If we want to become stronger in God’s word, we need to read it consistently. If we want to become a stronger Christian, we need to repeatedly go to God in all things. If we want to become stronger in our daily walk with God, we need to remember repetition brings strength.
1 Timothy 4:8 “Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.” (NLT)
Dear Lord, we come to You today for strength. We know reading Your word, meditating on it and memorizing will bring us strength in Your word. We know praying to You regularly, crying out to You, praising You and worshiping You will bring us strength in our daily walk with You. We know being obedient to You and following You will bring us strength in leading by example to others who need to know You. Help us today, Lord, to be strong so we are drawing closer to You every day and living the life You have called us to live. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
A consistent walk with Jesus brings us closer to Him and makes us stronger.
When we go to God every day, He make us stronger every day.
A continuous prayer life where to go to God every day will lead to knowing His will for us.
If we want to be strong and do God’s will, we need to begin now training our minds to know His will.
Physical training keeps our bodies in shape but our bodies are only temporary. We should also practice spiritual training for our eternal reward.
1 Corinthians 9:25 “All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize.” (NLT)

When a glass or jar is filled completely up to the top, there is no room for anything else. When something else does get placed in there, it pushes the contents out over the rim. When something is completely filled, it is at 100% capacity of its fullness. It is doing its job completely. It is strong and full of what gives it purpose. We can be strong when we are completely filled with the Holy Spirit. When we are 100% filled with God’s word, His love, His Holy Spirit, we will be strong and living on purpose for Him. When we stay completely filled with God, He is preparing us for our next opportunity to serve Him.
Romans 15:13 “I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.” (NLT)
Dear Lord, we pray today You will fill us completely with joy and peace and love. We pray today You will give us the confident hope from the power of the Holy Spirit to stay strong for You. Help us today to be 100% for You and not let nothing come between us and our relationship with You. Help us to study Your word more, fellowship with other Christians and completely live for You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
We should ask ourselves today what more can we do to be completely filled with the Holy Spirit.
Living as God wants us to live will help us to be strong for Him when times get tough.
Being filled with the Holy Spirit helps us to make the right decisions at all times.
Allowing God to cleanse us daily and fill us completely with His Holy Spirit will get us in the right frame of mind for the day.
We should ask God today to empty our heart, soul and mind and completely fill us with His Holy Spirit so we can show His love, joy and peace to others.
Titus 2:14 “He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, and to make us his very own people, totally committed to doing good deeds.” (NLT)

FOLLOW AND OBEY
To know God’s will and read His word is good. But to follow and obey requires strength. We can read His word every day but if we don’t obey it, we aren’t completing His will for us. We can know His will for us and understand what He wants us to do in life but if we don’t follow Him, we aren’t going to be doing things His way. It takes strength to follow and obey God in this crazy world we live in. However, it is possible when we go to Him every day, draw strength from Him and remain focused on Him all day.
Ezekiel 26:37 “And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.” (NLT)
Dear Lord, we need You. In order to follow and obey You, we need strength. This world can get us sideways and backwards at times and without You in our lives, we soon find we are going in the wrong direction. Help us today not to be systematically going through the daily motions. Help us today to be focused and purposefully living for You by following and obeying You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
There are going to be times we get off track and that is usually when we stop following and obeying God.
We can know God is with us in all things but we can only feel His presence when we decide to follow and obey Him.
Following and obeying God requires that we spend time worshipping and praising Him.
God alone is all we need to do what is right in every situation.
When we are struggling with what to do, we should make sure first that we are following and obeying God.
Philippians 2:12b “Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear.” (NLT)

STRENGTH TO LOVE
There is strength we must muster up ourselves and it comes from spending time with God, reading His word and praying. We are to love the Lord with all our strength. That means if our strength is spent on making as much money as we can, we aren’t using all our strength to love God. That means if our strength is spent on loving others more than God, we aren’t using all our strength to love God. That means if our strength is spent on gossiping, getting even and doing things that help only us, we aren’t using all our strength to love God. When we spend all our strength on loving God, He will help us to love others as well.
Deuteronomy 6:5 “And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.” (NLT)
Dear Lord, we know You want all of our strength put into loving, learning and obeying You. Show us Your will today. Help us draw closer to You today. Lead us down the right path of righteousness today. We want to put aside anything that will cause us to keep from using our strength to love only You. Help us today, Lord, to love You with all our strength, all our soul and all of our hearts. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
God tells us to love Him with all our strength. What do we need to stop wasting our strength on so we can better love Him?
God gives us the ability to love Him with all our strength but sometimes we become to weak to love Him because we are grow tired from doing other things.
When we focus on loving God with all our strength, then He will help us to always do the right things.
When we spend all our strength on loving God, He will help us to love others as well.
Loving God with all our strength means to exercise our minds and hearts by being obedient to Him.
Mark 12:30 “And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.” (NLT)
