I love this season and I am well. I also miss communicating with my Sparkpeople friends. It has been to long since I have done a blog entry. I have a new position at work, where I found myself doing both my old job and the new one combined. Once again, I knew that I had to exercise during the day to counter the stress. I started getting up very early to prepare a healthy lunch and snacks for the day. The best thing that I added to my day is my morning self empowering time where I exercise for 30 minutes and give myself what ever self care that I need. Later in the day, I go to the park for lunch and do a 20 to 30 minute power walk. This season is the best time for walks in the park. Exercising before work and during lunch, has really helped me to be more focused and to release stress. It certainly is better than trying to eat my stress away. I also make sure that I take a short snack break in the morning, since I am usually the last one to go to lunch in my department. When I hear that there are treats in the break room, I avoid that area at all cost. Out of sight and off of my thighs works for me. In my last position, I was on the road a lot, working at many different facilities. I now work at one location and can better schedule my life. My focus is to make time to connect with my Sparkfriends again. I really appreciate my Sparkfriends and all the encouragement that I receive. I am grateful for my life, health, family, great friends and this wonderful season. Thank you Sparkpeople and Sparkfriends!
