Spark Coach topic for me today was negative self talk. I know I have trouble with this. I have worked on improving it before. You know, the "what would you say to a very good friend in this situation?"
One aspect I haven't thought about previously was how to handle tough situations like when alone & tired in the evening. Would I say, "it's okay, you're just too tired," or would I say, "Let's make the tough choice to comfort you another way. You can do it, I'll help you through the discomfort & we will come out better for it in the end."
What are my best interests & who is looking out for them if not me? Wait, let's change that one. I can guide myself to make optimal & enjoyable choices for me. I am learning along the way, just as every other human being is. Three cheers for trying. Three cheers for working on it.
