I must remember to stretch before playing ball again. Both of my quads are incredibly painful right now from ball, but I sure did learn my lesson. So, I will keep icing my legs, and make sure I give them enough rest without doing nothing so they don't stiffen up. No matter what though, even if I am not able to exercise intently, I will still eat right. Hope everyone had a great weekend, I sure did!

Well, both of my kids passed their grades, so the last day of school yesterday was triumphant. I am so proud of them! Last night was baseball for my oldest child, and I had planned to make a tofu stir fry for myself for supper, but somehow that didn't happen, and I ended up eating a sausage on a bun. I tracked it on my calories etc., but it still wasn't what I had planned and I was disappointed. The scale showed it today, I was up .4, and I have decided that I will not weigh myself until Monday. I also hit a wall last night in terms of my cardio. I have been doing 2 hours daily, and last night it finally hit me. I ended up napping on the living room floor for 2 1/2 hours and wasted a night when I had a ton of stuff to do sleeping. Frustrating. I had planned the other half of my tofu stir fry for my supper tonight, but time stood in the way again, so it didn't get fried up. Instead, I heated it all up in the microwave. But, I did get it in instead of eating a foot long seafood sub from Mr. Sub as it may have happened. Also, the rest of the day my eating was spot on, and I am very pleased with that. I have lots of fresh veggies and fruit to eat tomorrow on a very busy baseball day, so I feel prepared. I did no exercise at all today, a personal decision, not something that was a coincidence. I am also going to take tomorrow off, and get back to it Sunday with my weekly run. Also, starting Sunday, I am going to scale back to one hour of cardio daily. I need my energy for other things right now! I am so excited for the summer, I want to go to the beach, take day trips locally and basically just enjoy family time. and, maybe, clean up my house a bit!

I was running today with my running buddy, and we got 37 minutes into our one hour run when I had to stop, I just couldn't breathe. The air was so heavy. We walked the rest of the hour, and then I did my second hour of cardio today by rollerblading. I didn't have breathing issues while roller blading, but it is so much "easier" than running because of the opportunity to coast and still be moving. I still have to get my strength training in, and it is 9:30 at night! I will get it done before I go to bed though!

I slept in today, thank goodness my friend called and woke us up! That kinda put a snag in my day, but I worked it out. Had a one hour walk with my friend, she was very sore after two ball games on Sunday, so she decided to save her energy for the rest of her week and pass on the second hour of walking later in the day. So, I returned home and headed out for a second one hour walk solo. I listened to my tunes, and got in my hour just in time to get lunch to my kidlets at school. I had a busy time after that, but then I got in my Core Strength training and a shower before I had to get the kids from school. I am really enjoying these two hour cardio days, and feeling very driven and focused on my food too. Feeling hopeful is okay, as long as I back it up with my actions!

I went today with my hubby on our oldest childs class trip. What a fun day! Lots of walking and trying to keep track of other people's kids. I got up early today with the plan in mind to do my strength training and maybe a little bit of dedicated cardio so that I would have less to do in the evening. Instead, I decided to take some time to boil up 6 eggs to have 2 at each meal, and pack a healthy lunch for myself and my family. Because I took that time, it meant that I had a healthy food day, but it left me my planned two hours of cardio and strength training to complete this evening. So, I did some gardening, a little bit of swimming, a mere minute of skipping, and then did 46 minutes of aerobics and a 40 minute indoor bike ride to get my minutes in. I am determined to get in to that new bathing suit before my best friend rips her hair out from listening to me whine and complain on and on and on about how badly I want to wear it!
