I am not Santa Claus, but my belly sure does jiggle!

I have a mirror at the end of my bedroom hall. A full size mirror, and every time I walk down the hall in my pyjamas, I can see my belly jiggling in the pants. It DRIVES me CRAZY! I will not take down that mirror though, so every day, I see this jiggle of my belly. Today, though, I noticed that the jiggle is decreasing considerably! What a happy day! Yesterday, I broke into the 150's (159.6), and today I noticed that my belly is less jiggly. Just wanted to share the joy! HO HO HO, merry summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate that dang jiggly feeling. Congrats my dear on breaking through into the 150's! Man oh man you have come so far! I hope your ankle is doing much better btw.

The Weekend and my Monday plan

What a great weekend we had here in my family. We spent a full day on Saturday visiting with my Dad, his wife and their child together. I rose at 5:18 in order to fit in my 1 mile run and upper ST. What a long day, it was after midnight by the time we got home and into bed. I slept until 9 this morning!

Today was a great day too, and productive. I spent the afternoon at a local Pioneer Village attending their first annual Teddy Bear Picnic with my youngest child. The one on one time was precious. I took many photos, 91 to be precise, I will post some pics of the event soon. I love the feeling at this location, like you have gone back in time! We walked for a good 2 hours checking out the various buildings, enjoying each other's company. When we returned home, I prepared a leftover meal for my family, heated up a frozen chicken breast and cooked cauliflower for myself. I got a ton of chores done this evening, also my 1.5 mile run and lower body ST. The lower body ST felt really good on my ankle. I kept very little impact on my ankle, only step ups and squats that really involved it. Feeling pretty good, even put on a facial mask to cleanse my face, I have been having real issues with acne (at 37!) that I can no longer attribute to chocolate and sugar. So, I am thinking I need to reinstitute a facial cleansing routine morning and night. We'll see what happens.

Monday plan

5 mile run, upper body ST.

Hang laundry from washing machine, make sure everything gets put away.


Vacuum second van.

Spend 15 minutes with each child tidying up their rooms, and 15 minutes together in the basement.

    So the acne thing can possibly be attributed to your weight loss, since you are burning fat that you obtained when you were eating sugar etc as you are burning it away it can cause those same side effects. Fat is such a potentially dangerous thing! it stores toxins we are exposed to at the time we "make" it! and then as we burn it we have to deal with those things whether they be sugar, fat, or toxins! (another reason water is SO important to flush it all out!) I think a facial regimen will help for sure but consider that it maybe be your past you are dealing with! :)

Friday results, Saturday plan

Weight check in 160.2, down 1.2 pounds from last week.

1 mile run done, 10 minutes on the TM, 30 minutes swimming as soon as I got up at 8:30,I slept in my suit! 20 minutes on the elliptical, and did my core ST too.

The dishes totally got done, even did them up after our dinner tonight. The kidlets and I shopped for dinner, we served sausage on a bun and caesar salad. It was a very nice get together.

No laundry, house cleanup didn't really happen, except by hubby and kidlets. I did put away some laundry today though!

Very busy today, feel like I accomplished lots. Feeling pretty tired tonight, need to get to bed soon, which we be likely to happen since I have all of my ST and cardio done.

Saturday plan

1 mile run, upper ST, otherwise rest.

Day with my Dad and his wife.

Thursday results, Friday plan

I did a 3 mile run with a friend tonight, it felt really good, challenging in the heat and with my fast little friend. The last 10 minutes were on my own, and I really struggled to get it done. I enjoyed her company on my run, I have been doing a lot of runs alone lately.

I did 25 minutes on the bike, worked it hard, so didn't do swimming. Time got away from me today, and things came up unexpectedly too. My upper ST got done, yippee! 4 times this week already:2 core, 2 upper.

I got the first van vacuumed tonight, hooray! It was a lot more work than I expected, so I only got 1 done, it took me 1 hour 15 minutes to do just the one.

The dishes didn't get touched, but I will be doing them all tomorrow, we have dinner guests coming.

8 am rise didn't happen. I actually sat up when my alarm went off, then laid back down for "5 more minutes". 5 more minutes became almost 2 hours, and a seriously sluggish awakening. I think I might sleep in my bathing suit tonight, so when I wake up sweaty, I can just go jump in the pool!

Nothing got done in the basement, again, unexpected things came up, plus the extra 2 hours sleep didn't help!

I ended up running a 2 hour errand for my husband today, and my day was pretty much a wash. I got nothing accomplished until 4 pm, which is when I began my vacuuming foray. Of course, I was interupted before completion.... It always happens that when I finally get off my butt to do housework, someone else figures I should be visiting with them instead. I am all for socializing, but when I wanta get something done, I just wanna get it done! After that, I made supper for my family again, my supper didn't coincide with their plans, and a friend called to go for a run. When I got home from the run, my oldest child was having a nose bleed, 20 minutes later that was finally dealt with. So, I began preparing my supper, and just as I was getting out lawn chair cushions, more company arrived! I apologized for eating in front of them, but I had to eat my dinner, by this time it was quarter to eight at night! We visited with them, and after they left, I came in the house. I rearranged the dishes somewhat and dove into my ST. Got that done, and hopped on my bike for 25 minutes. Now, here I am, 11:15 at night, the kids are finally tucked in, and I am ready for bed!

Friday plan: weekly weight check in.

1 mile run, 30 minutes swimming, elliptical, Core ST.

Get dishes totally done, choose menu for dinner guests, shop for menu, prepare food.

Get up in the morning by 7:30, I have to get to work!

Clean up the house for Dinner guests.

1 load of laundry washed, this didn't happen today. Get all of the rest put away.

    sounds like a great plan...do you not do any leg training? it will help with your core as well...and your running/swimming.

Wednesday results, Thursday plan

Ran 2.35 miles in extreme heat, felt pretty good, my ankle was achy. 30 minutes treading water, with these two activities, I had enough cals burnt, so skipped the elliptical. I did my Core ST, the one I set up with no impact on my ankle. I was still a little sore from Monday, but I also felt strong.

Windows in the vans got cleaned, vacuuming will have to get done tomorrow.

No laundry happened today, and no dishes either. I gotta head to bed now if I want to start tomorrow at a decent time again.

I got up at 8 am exactly, right when my alarm went off.

Today was a good day, I had a really hard time at dinner time. My oldest wanted Hamburger Helper for dinner, so I prepared it for the kidlets and hubby with no intention of eating any. Boy, I know this stuff is bad for me, but I still wanted to eat it! It would have been so easy, but it would have gone against everything I have been working so hard to achieve. I started singing a song to myself " It would be easy, but I don't want easy, I want skinny. I could do easy, but it won't get me what I want" So, I laced up and headed out for a run. I apologized to my family, told hubby, I have to get away from that stuff, or I am going to eat it! While I ran, I kept talking to myself, singing the song I made up, and saying " Think about _________" Lots of things ran through my mind, healthy food, what I will look like when I reach my goal to mention a couple. It was just what I needed. I ended up not having dinner until after 11 pm, but I really wasn't too hungry until about 10 ish. We had friends over, and I wasn't able to prepare my meal until about 11 pm. Long blog! Here are my plans for tomorrow.

Thursday plan: 1 mile run, 30 minutes swimming, bike? Upper ST.

Vacuum vans.

1 load of laundry washed, get all of the rest put away.

Get the dishes done.

Get up in the morning by 8 am again.

Work with the kidlets to get the basement cleaned up.

    You are doing wonderful with your daily plans. I need to do the same thing... since we are on break from our Sizzling Summer team for a few days yet, it is easy for me to get off track! Congratulations for staying on plan. I hope the ankle continues to improve. Take care.
