Tuesday results, Wednesday plan

Tuesday, August 10, 2010

I got in my walk, 10 pm, but got it in. No ST

Bathroom is clean.

Not too bad on calories, 1758, but my sodium was 4000! Kept the munchies away by staying busy all day.

21 cups of H2O!

13 freggies.

I woke up feeling brutal, really had to work to get myself going. Once I got moving though, I didn't want to stop. Super busy all day, ate really well, got my walk in late, but enjoyed the cool air. It was so nice to have a table in our kitchen again after years of eating in the dining room, and months at TV tables. I loved eating our dinner together at the table.

Wednesday plan

Groceries

3 mile run, 30 mins on elliptical, upper ST

Calories 1700-2000, sodium as low as possible.

Lots of water again.

8-10 freggies.

Wash kitchen floor. Clean off and move play table out of kitchen.

Wow, you look great at 160lbs You must be tall. I am tall also and weight moves between 145-150. I still think I need to lose but everybody tells me no. I am wearing a size 10-8, sometimes a 6. I have problem with maintence, and from your pictures looks like you do to. I could try for 140lbs. but I don't think I can maintain that with ease. Look at what is doable and don't worry about the scale. with your workout routine, you should be just fine. shoot for the tri. They are a blast. I just did my first one 2 weekends ago and we are doing two more this season so far. Have fun and you look fabulous and more importantly you look like you are having a great time.

Good for you for getting yourself moving this morning and getting your walk in, even if it was late!

That is a lot of sodium, but hopefully it was offset by all the water you drank!

Got in my bike ride, extra 15 minutes too. No ST so far, not sure I am too worried about it though.

Kitchen corner is cleaned up, even scrubbed the walls, baseboards and floor before moving the table into place. Does that qualify as ST?

The kidlets aren't really interested in me today, video game city. I have some stuff planned with them for tomorrow, so not stressing.

Sodium, and calorie intake was WILD! I ate up all of the calories I burned on my bike ride, and more, so I actually have a +170 on my differential today!

10 freggies in.

Tuesday plan

1 hour recovery walk. ST?

Clean the bathroom.

Low cal day, 1700, low sodium too. Gotta watch out for the munchies!

Lots of H2O!

8-10 freggies

Sounds like you have everything laid out for today! You have such a great attitude about everything! I've found I sometimes need to take a couple of days off from st to let my muscles heal and build.

We've been doing some extra cleaning lately, too! I love starting the school year off with everything decluttered and organized. Especially important for me this year, since I am starting grad school in 2 weeks!

Good planning emoticon Looks like you have been staying very busy with home things yet still getting all your exercise in - 7 mile run emoticon Is the 2 hr bike ride on a regular bike outside or a stationary? I have never been able to do much biking, although we each have 10 speeds - it always hurt my low back. Maybe since I am getting stronger I should try it again. Anyway, congrats on your days and keep up the great work. emoticon emoticon

Saturday results, Sunday plan and my Sunday run

Sunday, August 08, 2010

Saturday

Rollerblading for 1 full hour, almost 600 calories BABEE!

Found charger, got it charged.

Ate 9 freggies, 10 cups of water

Got 8 hours sleep

Laundry hung, folded, put away!

Dishes caught up, and continue to be so! Yippee!

1 shelf got tidied, but not the second. No desk tidying happened.

I had an awesome day, got in all of my cardio, got a ton of housework done, food was really good, stayed true to my plan.

Sunday plan

Run 7 miles

Finish second shelf of eldest child, tidy desk of youngest.

Hang laundry, get it folded and put away.

Have a ride on my hubby's motorbike.

Work on the kitchen with hubby.

I got a lot of this list done already, I wanted to blog about my run this morning. I got up at 7, which is early for me lately, hung out laundry and had a tofu smoothie to power me up. I did up the few dishes before heading out to run at about 8:10. My five minute warm up walk was awesome, then into the run. I have not done a long run in two weeks, and this is my first tracked run since I stopped my streak.

Splits time/avg. hr
11:19/150 \ 11:53/155 \ 13:00/155 \ 13:13/155 \ 13:30/155 \ 13:33/158 \ 13:12/160

My maximum heart rate was 171, and my maximum speed was 8.5 mph (7:01 mm), going downhill for that one, it was totally awesome. We Will Rock You was on my headphones, and when I hit the bottom of the hill, I shouted out "ROCK YOU!" talk about an adrenaline rush! The run got really hard after the second mile, as evidenced by my splits. The sun was super hot, and I could tell starting out that the air was heavy. The temperature went from 22-25, and the humidity went from 78 down to 65 by the end of the run. At about 2.5 miles, I was tempted to turn back, but I pushed through to my 3.5 mile half way point so I would have to finish this run. I made it through! It felt good to put in such a long run, but I won't be doing it again until I get this last bit of weight gone. I would like to do some speedwork over the next month, try to get a 1 hour 10K. I thought I had one over a year ago, but when I tracked it on the map, I discovered I had missed an entire planned loop, and had not actually gone 10K. My event is mid September, here's hoping I can at least set a PR! Anyway, enough babbling, have a great Sunday folks!

Good deal! I'm smiling because I thought I was the only one who would shout random lyrics when running. Yeah, I get looks from drivers, passersby, & a few residential folks (one police officer kepd doubling around and following me-I think to make sure that I was "okay"- lol!

Happy Running! I love it! emoticon
