Goal 1 reach 191 pounds: I made it to 192 pounds, which is 4.2 pounds lost for the month. I am totally pleased with this progress, it's the first month I have posted a loss in a long time, so I will take it!
Goal 2 tracking: Definitely done, I have become completely consistent on this issue.
Goal 3 6 days cardio weekly: I have done really well with this one, a couple weeks I had more than 1 rest day, but made improvements in the latter half of the month.
Goal 4 measurements and Goal 5 BMI: no measurements today, too busy, to come shortly. My BMI is down to 32, only .1 above my goal and I am content with that also.
Goal 6 family bike rides: I did not achieve this goal fully but I made some progress for sure! More to come in July.
Goal 7 less screen time: I have had less screen time, but the work around the house suffered with June busy at school. More will happen on this in July.
I will update my measurements tomorrow and list my July goals.

I DID IT! I DID IT! I DID IT! I am so excited I can barely type. I am totally overwhelmed with emotion. I wanted to give up so many times, and I even made my wonderful husband tell me that I would not DIE! I thought I might, and I have felt this way during runs before, but I have always pushed through it. Today, it was so special for me, and I know that it will sustain me next week when I make my outdoor 10K run happen. It took me 1:51:09 to complete the distance, and my fastest speed was 5.0 for the last .005 of a mile. I did a nice stretch when I finished, and I am so totally pumped up right now that there is no way I can go to sleep. Oh boy.

Goal 1 reach 191 pounds: I weighed in at 192.8 this morning, so I am definitely getting closer!
Goal 2 Tracking: I tracked my food for every day last week, 7/7! I also tracked all of my activity.
Goal 3 1 rest day: I had two rest days, Wed and Fri, but I'm okay with that, because Friday I was on the road getting to our weekend getaway, and Wednesday I spent the day walking around the Ontario Science Centre on a class trip.
Goal 4 measurements and Goal 5 BMI: Monthly goal
Goal 6 Family Biking: We ended up leaving the bikes at home for our camping weekend, so no progress on the little one, but my oldest went for a 6 minute bike ride twice around the block with my last night before I headed out on my own. Awesome!
Goal 7 Less time on screens: Barely any screen time this past week. No time between packing, traveling, and being away!
Goal 8 Home recovery: My week last was super busy, between going on two class trips, getting laundry done and keeping up with the dishes, and getting packed up and away for 4 days, that was my limit! I am okay with getting nothing accomplished though as far as home recovery, because honestly, I didn't sit still!
Recap of the week, it was totally great. Lots of fun family time, the kids loved having their friends along for our camping trip. I didn't get a lot of time for myself, but that is typical for me in June. School's last month is very busy, and we always have camping at one time or another too, so I end up getting ready for that. I was very pleased to get my run in on Sunday, my Aunt rode her bike beside me for part of it, and I really enjoyed that. I had some days that were very low for calories, because I was not logging online, so I did not know that until last night when I transfered it all online from my log book. I am totally excited that I managed to lose weight on a week when I was away on holiday for 4 days.

Goal 1 reach 191 pounds: So far I am down 2 pounds, 3.2 to go. This week showed a loss of 1.8, and I am very pleased with this number. My cardio left a lot to be desired over the weekend, and I did not go for my Sunday run. The biggest influence on this number was Monday being a very low calorie day, and I think in general I ate better over the whole week, which was impressive for me, because I really battled my monthly chocolate cravings hard to avoid eating a ton of chocolate bars and such.
Goal 2 Tracking: I tracked 4 1/2 days this past week, which is an improvement from the week before.
Goal 3 1 rest day: I essentially had 5 rest days this last week, what does that tell me about my weight loss? Does it say that the loss is muscle because I was so sedentary? Does it say that I need to work out less to keep my appetite in check? I'm not sure what it says, but I feel like I need to be more active than that for certain.
Goal 4 measurements: Monthly goal.
Goal 5 BMI: Monthly goal.
Goal 6 Family Biking: We went together as a family to a local man who does bike repairs and sales, bought two NEW used bikes for the kids. Our youngest child definitely had to have a bike of the right size, but our older child also found a likable bike so we traded in some bikes we had around here from an old friend and got both bikes for the kids for $25.00! Yippee! So, next time we go camping, much time will be committed to the youngest kidlet getting their "wings" so to speak, and that will open up a ton of opportunities for me to include the kidlets in my cardio from now on and also get us out have fit fun together as a family!
Goal 7 Less time on screens: I still spent too much time on this one, especially Monday night, I was up until 1 in the morning playing my favourite strategy game, Civilization Revolution.
Goal 8 Home recovery: The reason I listed this as one of my goals is because we have allowed the state of our home to degrade terribly over the last 7 years we have lived here. The basement has alternately been organized and tidy, and then becoming a cess pool of broken toys, separated games and just general disarray. I did have it cleaned up a couple of years ago, and the kids and their friends trashed it completely in about 2 weeks by not putting away what they had played with and then shoving it all to the side so they could play on the open floor with their friends. As parents, we should have been on top of them more to be responsible, and it didn't happen. On Friday night, I went downstairs to pull pork chops from the freezer for Saturday dinner, and found that we had water leaking from the first floor and a minor flood in the corner of the basement. AGAIN! Because this has happened before, we cleaned it up, and went about our business. Well, this time, two ceiling tiles had collapsed with the weight of the water and it was an absolute disaster. I got the water turned off to stop the leak, and I now had the mess to deal with, but because there is no order down there, I had to move stuff out of my way to get to the water valve, and it was very time consuming not to mention dangerous! So, I set myself up to clean up the mess over the weekend. I spent many hours down there sorting through toys, throwing out a ton of broken toys, games with missing pieces. and we have been running a borrowed dehumidifier to deal with the carpet and furniture that is wet. Long term the carpet is going to have to come out, so I need to get that floor cleared off, and then we are not going to allow it to become so messy ever again. That means we will have to rid our home of the majority of the toys, and store the others only to be brought out when they are desired and returned to their storage homes upon completion of playing. There, so, this goal was definitely met this weekend.
As far as the general mood of the week, I could sum it up with one word:TIRED. I have been feeling very tired all week. This is related to the arrival of my TOM I know, so it should be over with by now, but staying up so late on Monday night prolonged it. I got a good solid 10 hours last night to make up for it, so I should be on the right track now. This week, I intend to track 5 days, get in cardio on at least 3, and really focus on my family goals.
