Starting point and 3 major goals for 2012

Another year over, and I am looking ahead to the new one in front of me. What do I want to be proud of when I look back in another year? I have done my measurements and my weight, ready to move forward.

Starting point for 2012

Weight: 211.2
Bust: 45
Waist: 43
Hips: 51
Body Fat %: 45.8
Waist To Hip Ratio: .84
Neck: 15
Chest: 39
Water percentage: 38.2
BMI: 35.7
Resting Heart Rate: Will take this tomorrow morning.

It's all out there for the world to see, and I will post a photo tomorrow to give me something to look back at as I make progress towards my goals.

My 3 major goals for 2012 are:

1. Reach my goal weight of 135 pounds by January 1, 2013.

2. Run a Marathon.

3. Complete Project 365, which is to take a photo every day.

I will take some time to focus on each of these individual goals over the next few days, but for today, I am just getting it down.

Wednesday, November 30, 2011: Today is the end of the Biggest Loser Challenge #17. In 12 weeks, I have GAINED 17.4 pounds. Starting out the challenge by developing pneumonia really disappointed me, and I have never been able to gain any momentum. I feel like right now I am starting to get moving again, ready to build some consistency. BLC 18 starts in January, but I am going to make an effort to lose some weight before then, and be ready to start the new challenge with an exercise routine and healthy eating lifestyle already in place.

Wednesday, September 7, 2011: Today is the start of the Biggest Loser Challenge # 17 here at Sparks. This is a 12 week challenge ending on November 30. I feel that since I am starting a new challenge of such a big scope that I should make a fresh start on my sparkpage too! My goals for the 12 weeks are to lose 12 to 24 pounds, as many inches as possible, and really focus on getting consistent. My starting weight is 191 pounds today.

Weigh in Week 2, Wed, Sept 21:194.2 +1.2
Weigh in Week 3, Wed, Sept 28:194.4 + .2
Weigh in Week 4, Wed, Oct 5:196.8
Weigh in Week 5, Wed, Oct 12: 197.2
Weigh in Week 6, Wed, Oct 19: 200.2 + 3
Weigh in Week 7, Wed, Oct 26: 199.8 - .4
Weigh in Week 8, Wed, Nov 2: 202 + 2.2
Weigh in Week 9, Wed, Nov 9: 200.6 - 1.4
Weigh in Week 10, Wed, Nov 16: 204.4 +3.8
Weigh in Week 11, Wed, Nov 23: 206.4 +2 up a total of 15.4 pounds for this challenge.

Final Weigh in Week 12, Wed, Nov 30:208.4 +2 up a total of 17.4 pounds for the entire challenge.

Thanks so much to everyone who commented on my blog last week, it means a lot to me to have you support and input!


Check in

1. Maintain my weight at 206.4: nope, gained 2 more pounds.

2. Exercise 4 days for 30 mins, one of them running: I exercised 3 days for 30 mins, ran last Thursday.

3. Go to bed at 11 pm: I may have done this once or twice, but my sleep is a mess right now.

4. Login to spark daily: twice maybe?

5. Strength train daily by doing 10 crunches, 10 push up and 10 squats: completed this 3 times.

I definitely worked on each of these goals, I need to make a new one this week of tracking my food.

Goals for Nov 30 - Dec 6

1. Lose 1.4 pounds to weigh 207 next Wednesday.

2. Exercise 4 days for 30 minutes, one of those days run.

3. Go to bed at 11 pm every night.

4. Login to spark daily.

5. Strength train daily with 10 crunches, 10 push ups, 10 squats and 10 jumping jacks.

6. Track food daily.

I am not giving up, no matter what!

    emoticonDo you have a smartphone? You can track right on there while you are out with the SP app. Just a thought. I struggle too we just have to keep working at it a little at a time!

Goals for the last week of BLC 17

2. Exercise 4 days for 30 minutes, one of those days run.

3. Go to bed at 11 pm every night.

4. Login to spark daily.

5. Strength train daily by doing 10 crunches, 10 push ups, and 10 squats.

November goals Week of Nov 2 - 8

2. Return to consistently being active.

3. Login to spark daily.

4. Eat 3 fruit and 5 veggies minimum daily.

5. Strength train 3 times.

6. Complete one Scrapbook page.
