5) What can you improve upon?

In terms of eating more freggies, I think starting my day with a serving of fruit will really help me reach my goal. Gonna start that tomorrow.

4) How are you doing day by day?

My new habit I am forming this week for the Cloverleaf challenge is to eat 5 freggies every day. I set the goal on Sunday, and I have achieved it every day. Today was a bit of a challenge, but I loaded up on green peas at supper and had an apple for snack to get that produce in. Without the concious effort to make this change, I would have never even thought of it.

3) What are you doing to encourage yourself and keep on track?

I hadn't thought of anything for this up until right now, so I am going to have to think for a minute. For keeping on track, I will write down all my freggie intake. To encourage myself, I will spend time scrapbooking in the evening for every day that I eat 5 or more freggies.

Jakarta blog challenge

I did not get on the internet yesterday at all, my kiddos used up our internet usage, and I am not paying $4 a gig for additional usage. So, I will answer the first two questions today in one blog.

1) What new habit you wish to develop?

Eating at least 5 fruits and veggies(freggies) every day.

2) How will you do that? Make sure that I have the produce in my home to make this possible, even if it is frozen veggies.

    Great habit to work on! Making sure you have lots of fruits and veggies on hand will definitely help. For me, it is also important to make sure I have veggies prepped and ready to eat. Fruits are easy enough, since you pretty much just wash or peel and eat as is. Veggies take a little more thought. I try to always have carrots, celery, and bell peppers washed, trimmed and sliced in containers in the fridge ready to eat.

I had a busy day today. At the school all morning, but got my walk in right after that. Then, off the the bank, and back to the school for Child #1 to transport to a dentist appointment for a filling. Popped in to the library, then back to school to pick up Child #2 leaving Child #1 in the vehicle. Upon reaching home moments later, it was discovered that while sitting in the van waiting, Child #1 had chewed on the lip which was frozen for the filling installed by the dentist. Quick call to the dentist, and a short drive back to the office to make sure no stitches would be required. Lip was raw, but no deep damage. This is the second time this child did this, and last time it took 6 weeks to heal. The damage was considerably less this time, but much pain is now occurring upon the thawing of the freezing. Not sure how much sleep is going to happen tonight. Also, Child #2 had a terrible time going to sleep due to the temptation of Harry Potter # 2 calling out "Read me....... Read me........" Big storm moving in tonight, we'll see what the roads are like tomorrow. If need be, I can walk on my TM at any time during the day.
