Overdid it

Well guys, my goals have been a bust since Thursday. I decided to take a rest day because I could feel myself getting worn out. Wednesday walk left me feeling dizzy so I decided that was a sign. I didn't listen soon enough, and Friday morning found me feeling winded, dizzy and absolutely zero energy. Grocery shopping was a disaster needing to take many breaks. Saturday was an emotional breaking point for me, I just couldn't tolerate anything. 6 in the evening I decided to lay down and read instead of picking fights with my family. I stayed in bed until 8:30 this morning, and I still feel utterly drained. I need to really remember to acknowledge my body's signals and take it slower than I was. I am not giving up, but I have some resting to do before I can jump back in.

I wore myself out overdoing it, too. I'm taking a break myself. So I understand.

Yes, I think we both need to start listening to our bodies better. I just figured mine was a lazy so and so, so what did it know? Lol. Obvious, it knew better than I did.

Sorry you were/are feeling so bad. Good idea, laying down and reading. I do that too, pick fights with people, when I feel bad. It never ends well.

Get better soon! Take my mom's advice to me: get some rest. =)

April Goals Wednesday Review

Goals for the coming week. Aiming for 21/21
1.Track my food every single day. CHECK 5/5
2.Stay in range 7 days a week. CHECK 5/5 Just barely managed this one, I was right at the bottom of my range.
3.Walk for a minimum of 20 minutes daily. CHECK 5/5 30 minutes done.

Another quiet day at home with the kiddos. I accomplished my goals but that is about it. No housework accomplished. The rain isn't letting up any time soon either so we are cooped up in the house.

April Goals Tuesday review

1.Track my food every single day. CHECK 4/4
2.Stay in range 7 days a week. CHECK 4/4
3.Walk for a minimum of 20 minutes daily. CHECK 4/4 60 minutes done.

Quiet day at home with a sick kiddo and number 2 stayed home to keep the germs with us and not pass the flu on to the rest of the class at school.

April Goals Monday review

1.Track my food every single day. CHECK 3/3
2.Stay in range 7 days a week. CHECK 3/3
3.Walk for a minimum of 20 minutes daily. CHECK 3/3 I walked for 70 minutes, and also biked for 24. Really thought I had overdone it and I would pay for it today, but I was fine. I must be getting stronger than I thought!

I watched the movie Mamma Mia in the evening, great positive movie!

April Goals Sunday Review

1.Track my food every single day. CHECK 2/2
2.Stay in range 7 days a week. CHECK 2/2
3.Walk for a minimum of 20 minutes daily. CHECK 2/2 Walked for 1 hour. I felt at 40 minutes that I might stop at 45, but the last 20 minutes went very quickly, so I stayed on!

The kids and I got new bike helmets, and we got the bikes out. The tires all needed air, so we put air in all 4 sets of tires, then the three of us went for a trial run ride to the school and back. It felt great to get out with the kiddos and get active. Bikes to school and back from now on instead of walking.
