I saw on Dr. Oz a few weeks ago about the weight loss benefits of Chia Seeds. I noticed in the nutritional log that there are several Spark People that have submitted caloric intake for the food log.
I am wondering if anyone can share their experience with Chia Seeds? I.e., did you lose weight? How long did it take for it to work for you? Side effects? What happens when you stop taking them? (Do you gain weight right back?)
So many questions, but I am hoping that this is something that will get me past my 2:00 p.m. slump/binge.

12/12 is a very special day that I celebrate each year because it is the day that my divorce was final from my first husband, the abuser. This year, being it's 12/12/12, I exercised an extra 12 minutes, slept for an extra 12 minutes and for dinner tonight I am making homemade pizza with 12 veggies toppings! Hope your day is as good as mine is shaping up to be!

I feel guilty when I exercise. There, I've said it. Exercise and eating well makes me feel selfish, like I don't deserve it. It's a matter of low self esteem, and even though I know exercise and eating right are good for me, it's like I am programmed to think otherwise. Hmmmm......
