My Trail Running Day with Pictures

My group planned trail running on Saturday and i RSVP'ed too, all excited with some points i was over thinking about

- Will i be able to run with other fast runners, they are fast and i am a slow runner

- I don't have hydration pack, ouch i need to carry 1.5 litres bottle in hand, done i will carry, i don't have time to buy a hydration pack

- I need to read online about pre Run, Post Run, during Run sports gels

Saturday Morning I woke up at 4am, a quick shower and i reached the meeting point with other runners, we all drove together to our Trail Destinations

Run started on time, This trail was more inclined compare to other one which i normally do, its gonna be fun
i was running, huffing, puffing and others were running smoothly like a pro, i was amazed at their running skills, i told them they can go, i will join them later.

and i started with my walk/run intervals, i ran, i walk and i saw group waiting for me, they all cheered me and started with their run occasionally calling and checking on me

my sports gel helped to boost up my energy, i could run uphills and on trail, it was fun hour run. My heart rate reached 170 while running uphills, and came down to 156 while walking those hills

later met group at starting point, they did double trail running and where i was huffing puffing just after an hour run, ooo boy they are pro, they can run non stop and don't need walking break

i burned around 808 calories in 70 minutes, it was fun day and i am in love with trail running

yay my good day - diet and exercise

early morning i went for RPM Bike group class and burned over 300 cals in 30 mins, followed by 10 minutes yoga stretching

breakfast: Avacado Sandwich with some cream cheese
snack: apple and coffee
lunch: steamed seafood salad with some almonds
evening snack: soy milk, and orange
and Dinner would be Thai stir fry with brown rice and protein shake

my yummy dinner yesterday, i roasted some chicken along with some salad

Running Day Today

today was easy run day, just run at comfortable pace and enjoy surroundings, lake and sunrise

other runners just left me behind and i could watch them shoo away

my heart rate was in between 140-150 which normally go high till 160 while running

post run was an egg sandwich and a cuppa coffee, comfort meal it has become for me
i am planning to eat corn, apple, orange for freggies and green smoothie for dinner

will keep track on Proteins, Lunch is Chicken, Dinner red Kidney Bean Wrap and a scoop of protein powder along with milk and yoghurt

looks like i am all set for day

yesterday i had 130 grams of proteins, wow, pat on my back
with 140 grams carbs and 50 grams fat

i think i did great

My Barbell Morning Workout and Proteins

my morning started with lifting Olympic Bars
Squats (70 lbs)
Deadlifts(70 lbs)
and Overhead press done (30 lbs barbell)


Tried Hip Thrusts to shape my glutes, i feel the muscles worked, loved this move
my goal is to see my well shaped glutes, and sexy back ;)



in meals adding Salmon and Tuna fish for Lunch and Dinner, along with a scoop of whey protein powder after workout

Freggies includes mostly fruits today - Apple, orange, berries, Mangosteen and a Raw Tomato in smoothie

Proteins - 130 grams
Carbs - 152 grams
and fat - 52 grams

Done for the day :)

My Food and Fitness Blog for 24 July

Woke up Late and missed morning gym, there Plan B came into action, i need to get my workout done either in Lunch time or Plan C, get it done after i reach home (difficult with cooking and chores)
after leaving work, i straight went to gym, 30 min treadmill incline workout sorted and back home

In terms of Nutrition i did bad with chocolates, though had dark chocolate square but i am not happy that why i crave them so badly.
after dinner i had one lindt truffle and decided done,
a dark chocolate square in lunch and a small truffle in dinner, i am doing fine.
, and hubby bought me fresh walnut brownies, i wanted to argue with him for buying me the brownie and tell him i won't eat it, but instead i made a cup of coffee and enjoyed the brownie, not good

Doing well with fruits and veggies
midmorning Snacked on watermelon and Pineapple slices, it was refreshing
evening was Roasted Pumpkin Seeds and Tuna salad.
Green Beans in lunch, dinner made a Indian veggie with lots of onion and tomato in it

    At least you did eat a lot of healthy things today. I've had days that I didn't eat anything but cake and ice cream.
