I have been sipping on the same cup of coffee all day, without my usual dose of half and half. After skimming Kessler's book it occurred to me, I am drinking a little coffee with my cream, and the less cream, perhaps the less coffee.
I have never been tempted by the fake stuff, but in a pinch I have used it. I think I will stick to iced, black coffee and see what happens.
Part of the food rehab suggestion is to identify food cues...and be ready for them.
Cue: coffee, starbucks, cream...plan
Have all the black coffee I want without sugar or fake sweetener.
I ususally have 2 large cups daily, but today, half that. I am a little sleepy, but not slinky-like.
