Tracking nutrition has opened my eyes widely.
I always said it's hard to live without dairy fat. Now I am practising portion control. Yesterday (day 1) I skipped coffee. Today I made a fresh pot. There were 5 tablespoons of cream in the carton. I started with one. At three, the color was still darker than I like, and so I went for 5. Today is an experiment in Stage 1. What changes must I make? What little luxuries can I keep in moderation?
Will this one cup of coffee be worth the 100 calories? Will it taste better knowing what I will give up to keep it for this one day? Will it become summer to my heart, but not all four season of the year?
Interesting to look back later and find out my future choice.
