I am visiting the Second City of Chicago, and the first city of hospitality. I went to the apple store and they fixed my laptop no charge. I went to the malls and laughed with the clerks, even when I took a headlong spill in some slick slides at the Rack. When I left this town, I had reached a level of frustration with mean, hurried people. Had they reached a frustration level with me too?
When it's not working, then it its time to try something else. After a year and a half away, I'm recharged from small town life where cows and moose outnumber people. I'm also happy to go back home with this insight and without an attitude.
