What made you decide to try The Spark Solution Program?

I wanted to jumpstart my weight loss again!! Confuse the metabolism, etc.

Have you seen or felt any results in this first week?
I am certainly more motivated this week and have enjoyed trying some new recipes, based on a specific meal plan. I lost a couple of pounds - so that really pleased me. Juggling a celiac diet for hubby did not seem to affect the overall program!! My pants are looser too!!!!

What do you like the most about the program?
It is foolproof! When I read the book and found the meals all right there, it made choosing the right food combinations much easier than doing it by myself.

What was your favorite meal from this week?
It is so hard to chose, because most of the meals were food I really liked already - just prepared in different ways... hubby really enjoyed the inside out burgers and the cobbler!!

Which Insider Tip motivated you the most this week?
Using new spices to spice up our meals!

What is your goal is for next week?
Staying on plan and trying to get more "NEAT" in!!

I highly recommend THE SPARK SOLUTION to everyone who wants to have life planned for a couple of weeks to jumpstart the motivation and the weight loss. To check it out for yourself go to: http://www.sparkpeople.com/sparksolution

I plan to start the program the first of June, I've had too many company lunches and dinners out this week (and next) to follow the program. Glad to hear it's working for you! That's good to hear.

Okay so it's time to be accountable!

Sunday, April 07, 2013

My journey has been a long one and I am going to make it shorter!

I will be posting my weight journey on Thursday mornings from here on in! I will be honest with myself and everyone else about any weight gains!! I chose Thursday because I weigh in at TOPS on Wednesday night!

I will make my goal weight by November 1, 2013!

So, I have been accountable to ME for a couple of days now - and voila! - I have more energy - got up earlier - did some exercise and - I FEEL BETTER TODAY!!!!

My, my, my! What a difference a day makes! The scales didn't reflect what I am doing!!!! What they did to was go in the wrong direction and I need to re-evaluate!

I have started exercising - CHECK
I am journaling my food - CHECK
I am recording my feelings - CHECK

WHERE DOES ALL THIS LEAVE ME? It leaves me able to see where I am going wrong and that my friends is a good thing. I have been lazy about my meals and that is my biggest mistake this week.

Well, now I see what to do any why I gained - I WILL put this into practice starting right now!!!!

April 23rd

So I had a breakthrough last week and am encouraged! Now that I know I have to have my gall bladder removed, I have to change my eating again...what to do? It seems that just about everything I eat is really upsetting the gall bladder. Fat is my enemy now and I must win this battle. Since I am not sure when they will be removing the gall bladder, my plan has work in the long haul. Less fat and less carbs doesn't leave much to eat now does it? I have added hummus, Lentil soup and vegetarian chili - smoothies will work too as long as I keep the fat low in the milk or almond milk.

I CAN DO THIS! I WILL DO THIS! My journey continues and I am victorious!!!!

Thanks for listening!!

HUGZ Sharon

Make every day Valentine's!

Thursday, February 14, 2013

Today is a special day for so many children and couples! Happy Valentine's Day!

Perhaps this would be a better and more peaceful World if we all tried to think of our friends and family with the same attitude we hold today! We are created to love, so let's love one another unjudgmentally and with more joy in our hearts tomorrow and the days after that too!

Hugz and love, sharon emoticon emoticon
