Stormy weather

We were driving home last night from our friend's 75th birthday (which is about 75 miles away) and hit some bad storms.
The lightning was flashing across the sky and my husband remarked that he had never seen it go across the sky like that.
I couldn't wait to get home because I was worried about our dog who doesn't like like noises.
Needless to say she was fine and we woke her up when we got home.

    We had some of that same lightening. I was not streaks but long stretches of white in bands. I think they call it heat lightening. Anyway, I am glad you are safe at home,

Did some exercising

I did the Jillian Michaels dvd Body revolution work out #2 for 30 minutes and I did the bonus cardio for 20 minutes.
The sad part is I don't know how to post these and I tried one at a time and said "the heck with it".
I know I worked hard and had a good sweat so It counts for me!!

    If you want to track your fitness go to the start button, at the left top-then go into #1 track fitness, or go to your spark points page, and it's a couple down where it says track fitness. I think it tracks minutes. eva

    Like EmmaCory said, click on My Trackers, click on My Fitness, then you can do a search to see if someone else has already made an entry for what you want to enter... or you can create your own entry...

I tend to just use what looks the closest to what I think I am doing and use that entry. My goal is to track my minutes... I am not as concerned about guessing how many calories I burn doing my exercises. I figure at best those numbers are a guess on the best of days... and I should not take calorie burned numbers to heart.

Although, I do like to give myself credit for the time I put in !!!

    Under the exercise section there is a place to add exercise. You may not be able to track the cardio but you can track the minutes. emoticon

Just a short blog because I haven't wrote one since June 1st.
I did a Jullian Michaels video for 30 minutes early this morning and took the dog out for a walk/jog (a short one) and did a few 20 step hops on a fallen tree.
It felt good to something good for myself.
I went into my spark friend pages and removed a few that just left us hanging for a long time with no goodbye, see ya or nothing to indicate what happened. It makes you sad when that happens.
I miss a lot of them that are "just gone" and I don't know why.
I am going to visit more often on the pages of the Spark Friends that are there all the time and hope that they stay around and don't make their pages off limits to everyone.
In case you are out there (maybe under a new name) I just want to wish you all a Sunny and Happy Sunday and let you know that you are missed.

    Shame about the friend situation - and frankly, I can't see why someone would deliberately keep their pages "off limits" - just defeats the purpose of having a page at all.......

Of course, it goes without saying that "life happens" and that may be a reason why friends fall away........

    I have kept some of my MIA's (missing in action) SP friends, just in hopes they will return. The exception is when their sparkPage has been terminated because they closed their account.

    I check my Spark friends occasionally. I know that one of them died a couple of years ago and she is still receiving comments on her Spark page. I leave many inactive friends on my page in hope that they will return. I wish I could delete the names that are completely "greyed out" though.

    I'm sorry to lose my Spark Friends but I do take them off if I've written about their not being active and don't hear anything back from them. I try to write to each of my "friends" during the month. Now - I really like the picture on your blog. During this time with so many people losing jobs and money being scarce, I hope we all donate what we can when we can. emoticon

    I guess that I am not that good a friend because the ones that are gone are not really worth my time to go and remove them. Besides there is always the hope that they come back and say Yoohoo one day. The ones that are around all the time are active and that is all I care about. Kanoe is one of those, her smiling face shows up a lot. Same with Tweety.

I am very happy it is June 1st.
A Good month to start anew or continue to keep going forward to our goals.
As for me it is the renew part since I have been active but not exercising like I should.
School is out this Friday and I couldn't be happier since driving in the morning and then in the afternoon sometimes makes it hard to get things done as I get lazy.
I am happy to start JUNE as the month to turn myself around.
I have noticed a loss of muscle tone and even strength. (I carry buckets of water to my horses and I feel the loss of strength I had before)
SO once again... FOCUS on moving forward and Onward and Upward and don't look back!!!

    It looks like, on your weight ticker from your page, that you've kept your weight down and that is a struggle for most here. Hopefully you've been eating healthy, drinking your water and getting sleep.

You'll regain your muscle back in no time. Muscles never lose their ability to get better, even while we age.

Day one of restarting my streak!
Did 1 hour Gentle yoga and 20 pull ups.
I also walk but for my streak I am just going to count the days as I exercise.
Getting back on with Yoga.
