I took a shortcut in an attempt to do something for a customer. i did not have the authority to approve something, but i was hoping no one would notice/care. I set up a request and put it in the normal queue. i was mistaken. the person viewing the queue decided to be a problem and would not allow it. she asked a supervisor and he was not coopertive. at least when the customer called back a 3rd person took my side and decided the other 2 people were providing bad customer service.
i was annoyed, but i need to just accept responsibity. i went against the normal procedure. Others decided to be sticklers, but i could have followed the procedure and made them follow up if their were any other issues.
