common cold, uncommonly long

i caught a strain of the cold that wont let go. it hangs out in the throat then when you thing you are getting better, it sneaks into your lungs. then it camps out for about a week. The NP (nurse practitioner) at our office clinic said this strain has been being difficult tomanage. she even prescribed an albuterol inhaler because i have had it for a week and it is not getting better. i am using cold medicine, sleeping pills at night and other home remedies. I can't wait till i am over this thing.

i have been fighting a throat/head cold. i have been tiring faseter but i dinished my crunch challenge anyeay. i was hoping to be able to do sets of 50-60 at a time, but with being sick i was getting close to coughing fits. I my 135 crunches in sets of 25-35. it tool longer but i was able to finish it without coughing!

1 more day of challenge

135 crunches to do on monday. then i am all done with the 30 day crunch challege. it has been difficult the last 4 days because i am fighting off a throat and ear issue. not sure if it is an infection or not. either way it has been making it hard to sleep. so i feel very tired the last 2 days. hoping to sleep well so i am not groggy during a work day.

    135 crunches is a LOT! But take care of yourself - I know we all want to meet our challenge goals in all of our challenges, but when you are not feeling well, sometimes it is OK to give yourself a break. You know your body best, so you can decide if it is worth doing today. But be kind to yourself, too! Hugs

    Hope you feel better soon. I had a whole head issue,( itchy throat,itchy ears and sinus head ) for a week but am finally feeling better. I was gargling with salt water and apple cider vinegar. Plus I drank a small glass of it when it really was bad.

can't get over this sore throat. it is a dry itchy cough and it starts getting wose when i lay down. i have not slept well the last 3 days so that i the worst part.

    Hope you feel better soon. Maybe call the doc tomorrow??? If you don't feel better, he/she might be able to give you something that helps. And of course, there is always chicken soup!
