last week my weight went up about 1.5 lbs. this week i went down 1. i am not at my starting point but if i can keep up the momentum i can reach ny goal instead of getting farther away from it.

i finished 44 of 46 days of no mountain dew. I have 2 more left. this was not as difficult as i thought. I am wondering if i will still like it or want it when i reached my goal.

i know what i need to do to reach my goals, i am generally either too lazy or i make excuses, procrastinate or avoid i because it is unpleasant.

For instance i should get a physical. we have a clinic at work and i see the dentist regularily so i have been seeing medical professionals. But i have not had a full physcial in years. i had biomentric screening and most of my numbers were good. i just hate it because i have had some doctor's in the past that did not listen or told me to take supplements that make me sick.

I should still get a primary care provider. if anything it will help we get money off my benefits.

    Not having a primary care physician isn't good but you can lose weight without one. (Unless you have a chronic condition or disablity, then ignore me.)
Right? Maybe that's an excuse? Kind of sounds like an excuse. I know I don't know you and you might take this the wrong way but you won't be successful until you can recognize when you are making excuses. I know because I am the QUEEN of excuses. I hear myself try to make them everyday. And then I call myself on it and do what I need to do. NO excuses (mostly).

dew experiment failed

I did a blood test for biometric tests. back in late january.
my blood pressure, blood sugar, and HDL were good and my ldl/hdl ratio was good. but for some reason the LDL number did not come out on the printout.
cholesterol was boarderline high, and triglycerides were high
Not terrible but it was suggested icome back in acouple months and test again.
My cholesterol is now good but the LDL number did not come out on the printout.

The real kicker.. i have not had mountain dew in 40 days and it did not affect my number at all! so there is another reason(s) it is so high especially because the other numbers are good.

    I've really been working on my triglycerides. Slowly coming down but watching those refined carbs in baked goods, breads and things with white flour & sugar.
