My husband and I started a weight loss challenge about three weeks ago. We weighed about the same at that time and were both very aware that we needed to shed some pounds. Our goal is to get to a certain weight and maintain that weight for at least two weeks. The first person to do this gets to decided what we will do for our anniversary in August. My husband wants to go camping. That is motivation enough for me to really work at this. So far, I have lost about 8lbs. My hubby has lost 3lbs.
I have really been watching what I eat and counting calories...for the most part. This past weekend I went to an amazing women's conference with my three best friends and had a blast. We heard about the plans God has for each of us, how to embrace our "Spice" and what it means to be a Christian woman...and then we ate. We went to Stake n Shake, we went to Krispy Kreme, we had Panera for lunch. It was not good. I had soda (and now I crave it again all the time). So now I am trying to get back on track....wish me luck!
