What I am missing by spending the winter in the Rio Grande Valley. Sharing what people in the Midwest are going through.
This is a picture of our driveway. On the right you can make out the mailbox. On the left side, the person plowing our drive says it is much higher there and he has run out of room of where to move the snow to.
Try the new walking path and street driving combination when it's only one path on a two way street.
Or you could become a "couch" potato while enjoying a seated position in your vehicle surrounded by semi tractor trailers along side you while you relax.
And who needs to go to Mount Rushmore when it can be built in your own back yard.
And finally, a wonderful new method of exercising with the brisk fresh air and cardio recreations.
I hope you enjoyed the tour of my home area in the month of Feb. I did and as before enjoying the lack of snow here and thinking of all that are doing with winter workout dance!! Thank you for stopping by!
Though no one can go back and make a brand new start,
anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.

We are all working to keep going down the path of weight loss or to maintain what we have lost, meeting our personal goals. Did you ever think about starting all over again and again because you didn't make any progress? Why start over! That to me is a negative thought. Why not pick yourself up and begin again right from where you are.
When I began this trek several years ago, I did it because of the looks I would get and one little boy asking his mother when we were in a public bathroom, "Why is that lady's arms so big?" Leave it to a child to say it out loud. I don't think the mom knew what to say but was very kind in saying maybe she works out and plays ball a lot. That was the big eye opener. I don't know why I have gained so much in the arms but it is something I am working on. I can't go back to the beginning and start over. That defeats my current journey of close to 100# lost (some in the arms). I want to continue on the losing path and some day maybe I will have the answers to the questions asked like "WOW, how did you lose all that weight?" Tell me the secret!!!
KEEP PUSHING FORWARD EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE SLOWED IN GETTING TO YOUR GOAL!! Starting over doesn't work but pushing on does!! Thanks, Carl Bard!!
