I will KNOWvember!

A new month has arrived! It's November and I'm ready to finish out 2014 in the KNOW! I want to make the most of these last two months so I can wake up on January 1st, 2015 with a smile on my face rather than a load of pounds on my fanny!!!!

I have had an awesome year so far and I want to continue that same success throughout these last two months --- it's 61 days --- that's it! I am at the "Y" in the road -- do I go the way (or weigh!!!) to disaster or do I go the weigh to success??? Cup half full or half empty? Bah-humbug or Merry Christmas!?!?

There's one quote that comes to mind:

The Weight Watcher Team has a challenge for this month --- KNOWvember Challenge --- and we are focusing on doing what we need to do in order to make November a success and to finish out 2014 in a positive weigh --- it's all about what you KNOW and what you do with what you KNOW --- do you KNOW what I mean????

I plan to be in the KNOW ---- I'm taking some time today for me --- time to spend noticing the positive things that have changed for me this last year --- things like getting rid of larger sized clothing - being able to wear my wedding rings again - watching my pedometer number get larger as my weight number gets smaller . . . . .etc. And I will spend time focusing on what I need to do in order to get through November and December without regrets --- I do not want to regret --- rather than regret, I will resolve!!!

Here's to KNOWvember! I'm thankful for NOVEMBER!!

SEPTEMBER -- a month to remember!!!

One of my favorite quotes has come true!!!!

I started Weight Watchers last year in September and have been doing very well -- and I can honestly, without a doubt say that I am SO GLAD I STARTED THIS TIME LAST YEAR!!! I was not a happy person before I started --- I had little energy, my joints were starting to hurt, I had a hard time finding clothes that fit and were fashionable, I couldn't stay on my feet for long periods of time --- and on and on and on ---

I'm not sure exactly what made me go to that first meeting, but whatever it was that finally clicked, I am so thankful for that moment. I have a "weigh" to go yet, but I feel SO much better! For some odd reason, fall seems to be my best losing weight season! Summer was harder - I didn't gain - I actually lost a little - so I'm not complaining, but I'm really glad that September starts tomorrow and I plan to have a repeat performance of last year!!! I want to wake up on September 1, 2015 and be able to re-post this blog again! Well, maybe I can make one revision and that would be that I got the summer bummer figured out!!!

I'm joining a challenge on the Weight Watcher Team that's called "Make SEPTEMBER a Month to REMEMBER!" I want everyone to have this feeling of looking back without regret --- and looking to the future with excitement -- it's the only WEIGH to go!

Looking forward to 30 days of well planned, goal focused, happy, healthy living!!! Welcome September!

I've joined the Weight Watcher Team challenge for the month of August --- it's all about staying On Program and within my Daily Points Target for the 31 days in August --- A.C.E. --- that stands for August Challenge Event and the word ACE means to get the best grade/score -- to get a hole-in-one -- to serve the tennis ball so well that the opponent can't even touch it ---- it's good! it's all very, very good! and that's just what I plan to do for August --- I'm going to be very, very good and in 31 days I want to be able to say that I "ACED" August!!!

STOP challenge for this weekend!

Monday through Friday --- piece of cake! (not literally, mind you!)

Friday night --- Saturday --- Sunday ------- well ------ that's another story!!!

I'm doing very well on my weight loss journey --- but lately, I've found the weekends becoming difficult for me to stay on program. Up until the summer, I did fine on the weekends --- but now that I'm off for the summer, I'm finding that I'm wanting to go "off" my finely tuned weight loss program! The biggest reason is that I'm around others who can eat, love to eat, or just eat to eat ----- and they don't gain weight when they do! I, on the other hand, can become a big ballooned elephant in a matter of hours!!!

Well this weekend is going to be different! I'm on the Weight Watcher Team and we are having a mini challenge for this weekend --- it's designed to help us STOP messing around with our weight loss program just because its the weekend --- thought I would share the info and invite anyone on spark to join us! Here are the details:

Need help staying STRONG and ON PROGRAM over the weekend??? Do you find your weekends sometimes becoming WEAKends??? I know I do -- and in the summer it's even harder for me!

This mini challenge is to help us make ourselves STOP!!!!!

that's it STAY TOTALLY ON PROGRAM!!! S.T.O.P.!!!! for the next couple of days -- Friday night through Sunday bedtime --- we will S.T.O.P. ---- easy peasy (hold the full fat cheesey!!) --- no excuses --- no weaknesses --- no hit & miss --- no forgetting to plan ahead --- no trashing the tracker --- no sneaking --- no cheating --- no nothing that will keep us from having a successful weekend!!! We will just say NO!!! to anything that will throw us off track and say YES!!! to making good healthy choices and STAYING TOTALLY ON PROGRAM!!!

So -- who's in?? who needs to STOP??? who could use some extra support and strength from the WW Team???

here's what you need to do:

**post a comment right here on my blog saying that you're going to STOP this weekend

**make yourself some sticky notes that have the word STOP written on them in big letters - preferably in red ink!! and place them around your living spaces so you SEE them!

**then just DO IT!!!!

won't you join me???? We CAN do this --- we can STOP!!!!
