I am really enjoying eating more fruits and vegetables and less processed food. I got excited about blueberries at the store. I have also discovered a great app that is like having a personal trainer right there while weight training. It gives you a list of exercises and there is even a timer for rest after each set. I just got back from walking and boy do I feel great. My legs are sore but that is not a bad thing. I sit on an exercise ball all day at work and that helps too. My stomach is getting tighter and my clothes are getting baggier. Hard work does pay off.

Today I woke up craving water. I also cannot wait to get my work out in. It is so amazing how life can change. I lead my health and wellness group yesterday. The topic was eating healthy on a budget. I hope I helped the other members of the group. Life is about choices and sometimes making the right choice is hard but if you keep at it and remember what is important those choices become easier to make. I love having a salad or a piece of fruit and I would not want to trade that for potato chips on most days. Each day is a new beginning and I try very hard to learn from my mistakes and to forgive myself for those mistakes. I can only take things one day at a time and one choice at a time.

I am enjoying eating healthy and working out still. I am still excited about eating better and working out. The scale has started to move and that makes me happy. I am still reading the spark book and i am amazed about the new information I am reading. I am excited about life and fitness and healthy eating. Today I spent some time with my two girls, and my grandmother and one of my cousins. We had pizza for lunch but I brought fruit and vegetables to be healthier. I felt better for it too. after I got home I dropped the girls off at my ex mother in laws house for a shopping trip tomorrow. I came home and worked in the green house and garden. I forgot what hard work that was. I really enjoyed it. I have lost weight this week but what is more amazing is the feeling I get from eating better and being more active. When I wake up I think what kind of exercise am I going to do and I can't wait to eat healthy food. I am still reading the spark book and what an amazing difference reading the book can be. it is great to be enjoying life instead of hiding from it.

I have been exercising more often and eating a much healthier diet. I have a much better feel about the journey this time than the times before. I have been reading the spark and this time things seem to make much more sense. I know it is about the little steps and about changes and not giving up even when I make a misstep. I have walked or done something everyday to exercise and feel better. I do feel better and I am coping much better with the stress in my life. For the first time in a long time I know that I am making good changes and feel so much better about myself. I also know that I have a lot to do differently and will continue to take those steps everyday.
