i am not going to but up my goals for these 2 days because I got the stomach bug and therefore all goals were not met. Although I can say I was below in my ranges. measuring was easy. I did do a lot of cleaning (the bathroom), Hope no one else gets this. Oh and exercise I did a great core workout!!! To top it all off I lost 4 pounds!!! way to go.

On a good note I am feeling some better. I am not ready to run a marathon or even walk around the block. My eating today will be light and so will the cleaning. I will have time to have my quiet time since sitting on the couch will be my high light.

I am thankful I have older kids who can help and take care of themselves. As I was sitting outside yesterday enjoying the sun My neighbor was outside with her 4 little kids (oldest is 8). they were running all over. she started talking to me over our fence and said she had the stomach bug that night and felt bad. All I could think about is how I was sitting doing nothing.

I had my days like that. Yesterday i was glad they had passed and I was beyond those days.

    emoticon Sorry you got the stomach bug , I know that's miserable. HOpe you are on the up-swing of it all.Take it easy though so you can feel like new soon ! Good job for losing the 4 lbs.not a fun way to lose it though ! Take it anyway , that's a good loss ! emoticon

Thurs Friday and Sat. results

I have been so busy these last few days Here is an update

My Goals:
1. track everything I was in my ranges for everything except Saturday
2.30 min. of exercise. 43 mins on Thurs 31 mins on Fri. and 34 mins on Sat.
3.15 min. of quiet time. Did 30 mins on Thur 15 mins on Fri. and nothing on Sat
4 NEW CLEANING GOAL I haven't come up with one yet
5. measure my food. Measured everything.

Over all as busy as I was I did really well.

    Good job on measuring your food! I've been slacking off on that lately, but I'm trying to do better.

Wed. results day 12

Yesterday was another good day. I really feel the difference when I exercise and I went to bed last night thinking about how i was going to fit it into my busy day today. I woke up with a plan and I followed through with it. I had to get our van serviced today so while they were working on it took a 43 min walk around town. Not only did I get my exercise in but I got tons of fresh air.

My Goals:
1. track everything I was in my ranges for everything
2.30 min. of exercise. 45 min carido and 5 strength and 10000 steps.
3.15 min. of quiet time. Did 30 mins it was a good time in the word
4 NEW CLEANING GOAL I haven't come up with one yet
5. measure my food. Measured everything. took a little time but that is ok

I think today's cleaning project is to mop, vacuum and dust.

Next week i think I will tackle my bed room although my son will be home form school so maybe the cleaning thing wont happen. That's ok i get to spend time with him

    A plan makes all the difference. I, too, put things like cleaning on hold when my son's home from school. Nothing needs to be cleaned more than I need to spend time with my son...he'll go back to school and the dust will still be waiting. Enjoy! emoticon

So yo know yesterday started rocky with my smoking house. well i pulled it together with God's help (only way I could have done it). My day was great and i did so much. It felt great.

My Goals:
1. track everything I was in my ranges for everything
2.30 min. of exercise. 30 min of cardio and 10 min of strength and 9000 steps
3.15 min. of quiet time. Did 30 mins it was a good time in the word
4 NEW CLEANING GOAL clean the closet under the stairs 10 minutes a day didn't clean anything Finished the closet under the stairs Need a new cleaning project
5. measure my food. I did some of it I really have to work on this one. i am going to try to make this a priority


I love the feeling of meeting my goals. It gives me motivation to do it the next day. I also find myself thinking about what type of exercise I will do and how I can get all my veggies in and to do better each day.

    I love it too.There's nothing like getting your goals accomplished to make your day go better. I stick with my goals for 6 weeks (when they will hopefully become a habit) then pick 5 new goals for the next 6 weeks.

Monday's results day 10

I had a very good day yesterday. i may not have met all my goals but I was able to spend time with my daughter and help her with wedding stuff. (much more fun than cleaning under the stairs.


My Goals:
1. track everything I was 1 cal over and 5 fat over
2.30 min. of exercise. 35 min and almost 10000 steps
3.15 min. of quiet time. Did 30 mins it was a good time in the word
4 NEW CLEANING GOAL clean the closet under the stairs 10 minutes a day didn't clean anything
5. measure my food. I did some of it


Today has started off a little rocky with the wood stove pouring smoke into the house and a the alarms going off. But spending time reading so many encouraging blogs I am ready to take this day on. I am motivated and charged. ( i only hope it stays with me till I finish this blog).

    I agree, it sounds like you had a good day!

Except for the thing with the stove. I'm so glad the cold weather is finally over (here, anyway), and we can stop having to build fires in our wood stove every night. I love a nice fire, but the smoke... well, when we do it right, there isn't smoke, but we don't always build 'expert' fires. Lol...
