crazy week

I thought it was going to be an easy week but on Sunday afternoon they took my dad to the hosp with a kidney stone and a rupture the tube going to the bladder. He is in ICU and waiting surgery. So much for exercising and a calm week.

    Sorry to hear this news about your dad. Will say an extra prayer for him and a quick recovery. I know this is a stressful time so just do the best you can with your plan. I know when my Mom was in the hospital I would take a 10 min walk every hour or so...helped me stress level. Take care. emoticon emoticon

A New week

I feel like I have lost a few weeks here. I have been so busy I haven't had much time for anything including "me" time. I think things are starting to slow down so that is good. I had a great day yesterday spending much time outside with family and neighbors. It is so nice to have the better weather. I feel refreshed and ready to start this new week. I am motivated to reach my goals again. The sad part of the whole thing I have to start over because these last 2 weeks I gained back what I lost and lost all that I worked so hard for.

My Goals:
1. track everything
2.30 min. of exercise.
3.15 min. of quiet time
4 Spend 20 minutes a day cleaning something
5. measure my food.

So today is week 1 day 1. Here we go.
My goal is to lose 15 pounds by July 7. (10 weeks)

    I'm not sure we really have to start over, I think we just have to stop missing days. I mean, this is level 1, they are just a few rats to kill. I think getting 4 good weeks out of the six will be OK.

week 3 day 4

My Goals:
1. track everything I tracked everything went over in fat
2.30 min. of exercise. I didn't exercise today. Body is sore from raking and cleaning out my flower beds. ( my spring weeding muscles haven't been used in a while)
3.15 min. of quiet time 15 min
4 NEW CLEANING GOAL clean my closet didn't clean anything to day
5. measure my food. Measured

I am so tried of working an earlier shift this week and working in my flowers that I just can't find the energy to exercise today. I am also tired so I have eaten more. Do not have the will power when I am tired.

I hope tomorrow will be better.

    Some days are like that. Just plan ahead and do your best to make tomorrow better. As long as your overall trend is good, all is well. Anyway, you have nearly made it through week 3, it will be all an easy walk downhill after this week! =)

week 3 day 2 and 3

My Goals:
1. track everything Did even stayed in ranges both days
2.30 min. of exercise. day 2 35 min cardio day 3 10 min cardio ST for 15 min
3.15 min. of quiet time. day 2 30 min Day 3 15 min
4 NEW CLEANING GOAL clean my closet Day 2 didn't clean anything day 3 cleaned another flower bed
5. measure my food. Measured both days

It was hard to get cardio in today because I really wanted to the the front sidewalks cleaned up so I had to choose either cardio or that and I choose flower bed and out side. I still feel good to get 10 mins in walking to my son's baseball game.

i am being very active though. Much more than before. It feels good I think some has to do with the nice weather.

week 3 day 1 results

My Goals:

2.30 min. of exercise. 20 min cardio 30 min raking
3.15 min. of quiet time. 30 min
4 NEW CLEANING GOAL clean my closet cleaned a flower bed instead. to nice to be inside
5. measure my food. didn't measure all my food but some of it

I was so happy to get 20 min of cardio in. My day was so busy I wasn't sure how or when I would fit it in. My son had a baseball game last night and when I got to the field I was 20 minutes early for I walked up and sown the hill by the school for 20 minutes. It felt so good to get it in and use the resources that I had.

Also when we got home there were donuts I plugged in my point and found it I ate a donut I would be over in my fat. So..... I didn't eat one. It felt so good to turn it down and stay in my ranges.

Over all a great day.

    Good job turning down the donut! They are a major weakness of mine.

Another good job with the exercise. Productive use of your time, there, before the game started. Way to go!
