Goals:

1. track everything I stayed in all my ranges.
2.10 min. of exercise. I did 35 minutes
3.15 min.of quiet time did 15 mins
4. measure my food.yes!!!

It feels so good to reach my goals again. I am finding I have more energy to do more. I am starting a new spark streak. I am going to see how long I can do 10 min of exercise a day. i have been doing well 5 day a week but I want to up it to 7. I am changing my track to meet this goal.

I love having my daughter home. She motivates me so much. She leaves May 21 so i hope I have a routine in place before she goes. It also helps when I don't have to work.

Yesterdays goals:

1. track everything I stayed in all my ranges.
2.10 min. of exercise. I did 33 minutes
3.15 min.of quiet time did 15 mins
4. measure my food.yes!!!

The day was good. I love it when I do all my goals.
today is a little bit yucky out so it will have to be and inside exercise day. I love how I feel when I exercise so why is it so hard to do it?
I thought the more I did it the easier it would get. not yet.

My goals for yesterday:

1. track everything was low in my calories and protein but in my other ranges.
2.10 min. of exercise. I did 38 minutes
3.15 min.of quiet time did 20 mins
4. measure my food. some

It was a very good day. I took my girls out for lunch and I was a little worried that I would eat to much but I remembered that my body is God's temple and I ate well.

God is so good and when I start my day with Him I feel so much better.

Today looks like rain and I had planned on walking so I had better get going and do that before it rains.

A day in the life.

What a busy afternoon and evening I had yesterday. My husband had a Dr. appointment which I had stressed over all weekend only to find out they can't do anything for him yet. Needs to have more symptoms before they can do anything. We then went to my son's baseball game just in time to see him get hit in the eye with a ball and go down. So we spent several hours in the ER. Good news thing was broken and his eye is ok. Got home at 9pm and proceeded to eat pizza. ugh. It was a good thing I ate well all day. I was able to stay in my calorie range. My fat was high though.

I am cutting back on my goals.

My goals: for yesterday

1. track everything I did was in all ranges except fat that was high
2.10 min. of exercise. I did 25 Mins
3.15 min.of quiet time did 15 mins
4. measure my food.nope

So yesterday did pretty well so glad to cut back and excel in what I am doing.

    Oh my !!! What a day you had ! I'm so happy to hear that your son's eye is ok & there was no bad news about your husband. That's so much to deal with in one day . But you handled it all so well. You shouldn't feel bad about the pizza .. pizza isn't a bad choice , eating the whole pizza is emoticon I think you handled the day very well ! Good job !

the weekend

Why do we have to have a weekend? I do so bad on the weekends and then it takes me a few days to get back on track and here comes the weekend again.

My goals:

1. track everything I didn't track anything and I am sure I was out of my ranges
2.10 min. of exercise. I did get 10 minutes in each day
3.15 min.nope didn't happen slept in
4 Spend 20 minutes a day cleaning something nope didn't do that
5. measure my food.nope

Like I said everything falls apart on the weekend.

In my Sunday School class we are studying Daniel and it said the daniel purposed in his heart not to defile God. Well it got me thinking What do I purpose in my heart. So I think I need to purpose in my heart not to defile God's temple (my body). Now that I want to purpose that I am wondering how I go about doing that? In my mind I want to do it but I come up with so many excuses to defile His temple. Maybe I have to think more of it as His temple and not my body. This is going to be hard but I really feel this is what I need to do.

    I overate today. I think it was comfort eating. When I realized what I was doing I felt bad because I was defiling the temple of God. It made me sad to think that I would do it anyway. I must think of God more than myself. I want to be a vessel for His good works in the world. I can't do it if I am making myself ill by overeating. It just doesn't make sense to do it. But, if everything made sense the world would be a perfect world. It will be after the second coming but I need to push myself to overcome the urge to overeat now. I really wanted a treat today and then I ate too much bread.

Daniel did not defile his body. He was true to the Lord. He was a wise man. I am going to read more tonight. I got too tired last night and had to rest today because I was exhausted from the days before. I feel better now even though it is late here. It is time to read the bible. I am going to find out more about Daniel. He is motivating to me. I also want to read chapter four of Philippians. That is such an awesome chapter in the bible. I really sometimes just need to hear what it has to say. Praise God.

    Just a few ideas.... life gets busy, so maybe just try to do little things. Like if 10 minutes of exercise is all you can work in.. just state that . 10 minutes, is better than nothing . Don't worry about hitting all your goals right now. Tell yourself that today,I'm going to eat a healthy breakfast & workout 10 minutes. Just little goals, so you don't feel overwhelmed or defeated when you didn't do everything on your list. At the end of the day write down the positive things you did . Maybe it's just drinking your water, or you were able to spend some alone time. Every little good choice should be celebrated & should make you feel good ! Every good choice, no matter how small, will get you to your goal. Weekends are tough ones ! Another sparkfriend, was commenting on how difficult weekends are for her as well & what she did, is working is she starts her week on the weekends, like making it the same as a weekday . To try to keep it as normal as a routined day . She said it's working for her, it helps change her mindset. Maybe that will help you . Just a thought. Don't beat yourself up for the things you didn't do....only focus on the good things. You're doing well & you should celebrate that.     You say you did get in your 10 min. of exercise, so that is a start in the right direction. Maybe if you purpose to do that and just one other of your goals as well....and then when that becomes a habit to you, add another one.

I do believe we are the temple of the Lord, sometimes it's hard to keep that in mind.
