Monday's results day 13

Goals:

1. track everything I did it but went over just a little in calories and fat
2.10 min. of exercise. 37 mins plus 10 mins of strength
3.15 min.of quiet time I did 20 min.
4. measure my food some of my food I measured

I will not be on sparkpeople for a few days. We are leaving early tomorrow morning to pick up my daughter from college in NC. I will try to write down things I eat and try to find some time for a little exercise. This will be a big test for me since I wont have spark to support me and a husband who likes to eat.

I have a plan of packing fruit and veggies to snack on in the car instead of chips and junk. I will try to eat a salad at least 1 time we stop to eat. Then in the morning before we leave each day I plan to pwoer walk in place for at least 10 mins. Hope I can stick to this plan. I will let you know.

    Wow, your daughter is going to school in NC--my daughter is in NC too. I wonder if they are at the same college and even know each other. =)

weekend's results days 11 and 12

Goals:

1. track everything Sat. I did ok till evening Sun I didn't even track

2.10 min. of exercise. Sat. 20 mins Sun. Nothing
3.15 min.of quiet time I did 10 min on Sat Nothing on Sun.
4. measure my food No for either day

I am a little sad that I didn't make myself exercise yesterday. I so wanted to have a streak going. I guess I will start again today. I really blew it Yesterday. I was so tired I even took a nap. Guess it was mothers day. haha

Church was good. It got me thinking about being a mother. The pastor said...
there are 2 things a compassionate mother must do.
1. Be ready to fight for your child. for their health, well being, and their spiritual lives. Even if that means you have to fight with them.

2. Be ready to let go. We as parents need to raise them to be able to stand on their own and let go when they are ready.

I am in the letting go stages. taking 2 kids to colleges states away and getting ready for my daughter's wedding. Wow I need God as much now as I did when they were little. We and never stop depending on God to get us through all stages of life.

So I need to depend on God not only for my kids but for me and my healthy life style journey. Without Him I am nothing and can do nothing. For He alone is my rock and my strength.

With that in mind today I am going to take 1 step closer to preparing my body for Him. To be pure and holy.

    Sounds like you had a nice day yesterday !You got a great message at church, you even got a nap ! YAY ! Try not to feel bad about not exercising or tracking the way you were planning on. It happens. You just keep working at it. You will get there ! We will never be perfect ,we just need to be persistent with this healthy life journey ! We will get there. It doesn't happen overnight & we just have to keep plugging along ! Today will be a better day !

    I bet a lot of us didn't do much tracking or exercise on Mother's Day...myself included in that statement. Don't feel bad. We need to take a break every once in a while. Today is a new day and a perfect time to get back on that journey!

    We fail so we can learn and succeed. YOU can do this....one day at a time. Start your day with a 10 minutes of fitness.....I like walking (even if it is place in front of the TV while I catch up on the news). I than drink at least one glass of water. Than I take sometime for devotions....after which I plan my meals for the day. As you can see I am a morning person. Again YOU can do this. Have a good day and let's stay healthy together. emoticon

2.10 min. of exercise. I did 80 minutes
3.15 min.of quiet time did 15 mins
4. measure my food.yes!!!

I Did a work our video and then mowed the lawn with our push mower. I was super tired at the end of the day.

I also got my Mother's day flowers. The look so nice but I will have to be careful we might get snow on Monday.

Today I got up and was able to exercise. It felt good. It is not something I usally do on weekends.

2.10 min. of exercise. I did 35 minutes
3.15 min.of quiet time did 15 mins
4. measure my food.yes!!!

It feels so good to reach my goals again. I am finding I have more energy to do more. I am starting a new spark streak. I am going to see how long I can do 10 min of exercise a day. i have been doing well 5 day a week but I want to up it to 7. I am changing my track to meet this goal.

I love having my daughter home. She motivates me so much. She leaves May 21 so i hope I have a routine in place before she goes. It also helps when I don't have to work.

Yesterdays goals:

1. track everything I stayed in all my ranges.
2.10 min. of exercise. I did 33 minutes
3.15 min.of quiet time did 15 mins
4. measure my food.yes!!!

The day was good. I love it when I do all my goals.
today is a little bit yucky out so it will have to be and inside exercise day. I love how I feel when I exercise so why is it so hard to do it?
I thought the more I did it the easier it would get. not yet.
