OMG! I haven't been around since MARCH!

Monday, September 30, 2013

Shame on me!! I couldn't believe how many emails I have to read thru! I thank you all and it is now to get busy on emails reading and responding.

I have had a long spring and summer and Pray that my problems will go away. I have had problems with my mortgage and still working on it! Please pray for me!

I have had a memory loss for several years and it is now getting hard to talk to someone on phone or car or walking. I go into a room to get something and when I get there I have no idea what I am doing in this room? I go back to the other room and start all over.
Well thanks for reading this. I think there are pills to help so I am going to call the Dr. and see what she knows. Thanks for listening. See you soon!!!

(Yes! I still walk my dogs twice a day!!)

Welcome back! You might be deficient in B-12 vitamin and other stuff. So have the doctor check what your body is missing.

I told my VA Dr. that my legs were hurting and he asked if I was taking my B-12 (which at that time was 1 tablet). Told him Psycharitist said my levels were fine and so I had stopped taking it. He had my bloodwork checked and found I was deficient again. Now I take 2 tablets of B-12 (1000 MCG) everyday and Omega 3 Fish Oil softgels (1000MG) which I take 3x a day. B-12 also helps with memory!

So hugs and prayers for you!!!

Smoking and Mortgages

Friday, March 22, 2013

Why these two titles you ask? In February I wrote a blog stating that I am going to stop smoking. My last day of smoking is April 4th. My birthday is on the 5th. A new person! My mortgage company is trying to foreclose on my house. I live in HOuston and moved to MN in 2009. I had renters in the house but they didn't last long. They bought a house and didn't tell me. I could not pay the rent in MN and the mortgage in TX. WHen I moved back I started paying the mortgage two times a month. THat was doing great. Then for some reason they told me they were going to foreclose on me. I contacted a lawyer. This has been going on for too many months. I found another lawyer and she told me that it will be taken care of quickly. So today I uped my smoking today. One pack almost done due to stress. But FOR SURE after today, I will go back on lowering my smoking daily til April 4th. April 5th will be a NEW ME! No more smoking!!!!!

Quitting was the hardest thing I ever did. Also the most rewarding. Imagine the freedom of travelling through airports without worring about smoking.

Smoking

Friday, March 08, 2013

Yes, I am a smoker. Two ears ago, I smoke 2 packs a day. One year ago I was smoking one pack a day. Today I am smoking a half of a pack a day. And sometimes I only smoke twice a day. Doing it slowly is helping me alot. My birtday present on April 5th will be the last cigarette forever!!!

Wonderful, I know how hard it is but the rewards will outweigh the discipline required.

What a birthday present--longer life emoticon

That's so great! I quit smoking last October. I actually went in for major surgery and was in the hospital for 4 days and was in no shape to go outside to smoke after I got home so I was able to quit pretty easily! I guess it's pretty easy when you're forced to not smoke and deaden the withdrawals with morphine...lol So far no slips. Of course I gained 20 lbs because I was not able to really move around and I was eating to make up for not smoking so it made this weight loss journey even harder. Good luck! I know you can do it!!

My exercise for the day

Thursday, February 28, 2013

Of course I will do my exercises today. But the fun thing is that my dog "milo" loves to play catch with his toys. He brings his toy to me and waits until I throw it again and again and again. It makes me laugh most of the day. emoticon
