Day 86

So I got up early this morning and got my strength training in. Then I sparked before I knew it I could only get in a 10 minute walk and stretch before work. I'm 1.5 miles short of my goal for the week and tomorrow night we're not going to be home.AGH. I'll have to get my bike out tonight or tomorrow morning or both Satuday we'll be at a picnic swimming no walking.

Day 85

OK Nick got home on time and was over to Robin and Gary's before they even left. We watched the triplets. First I cooked dinner. Hot dogs, tater tots, baked beans, green beans, and mandarin oranges. They had no problem with the tater tots. Joshua actually ate everything on his plate once Nick started making funny noises when they ate. Ryan ate everything but his hotdog bun. That he gave to Max their dog. Trevor we couldn't get to eat hardly anything. He finally finished eating after I took Ryan and Joshua for their walk. Nick and Trevor caught up though for Max it wasn't quick enough. Joshua and Ryan had to stop to talk to Chrissy who is across the street and at 19 is real bad with brain cancer. She was walking with her mon and a cousin. Then Bob started talking to us. He was out for a walk also. Max didn't make it to his usual spot and went in my yard instead. But Nick and Trevor surprised us on the corner. They hid behind some trees and jumped out and startled us a little. Then we finished our walk. We went back to Robin & Gary's and let the boys have their oreos while they played in the front yard. nick sent me home at 10:00 to get some sleep and stayed until they got home at midnight. I'm usually in bed at 9:00 because we get up at 5:00-5:30 every morning and sometimes I'm up earlier even weekends. So I didn't want to get out of bed this morning but I did and I actually did 1.4 miles in ten minutes on the WII Fit free run. Then I got ready went to the grocery store because I had no fruits or fresh vegetables left. I will still go buy a tossed salad for lunch. I hate going home with half eaten groceries but at least I have them. Tonight pork chops and sauerkraut over mashed potatoes. My favorite. My father was full blooded Italian but my mom's German and Dutch. We had the best of both worlds growing up. I'll do strength training when I get home and we'll go for a walk with Robin, Gary and the boys.

Day 84

I have to remember to call Libby today. I think her family may be coming to upstate NY this weekend. I ment to call yesterday but apparently I was having cell phone problems. Nick tried to call and instead of it beeping in it went to voicemail which I don't have set up. I will call AT&T today or run over to the store on the other side of the plaza better yet. I am a little amped up this morning I had a cup of tea which I had been saving those til I was really tired lately trying not to overdo on the caffeine. I got up and did 20 minutes of strength before getting ready and heading off to work. I will do cardio when I get home. We are baby sitting the neighbors triplettes tonight. It's hard to believe they'll be 3 in November. I'm sure I will get plenty of cardio in. Their parents are going to a concert w/ friends and I will eat dinner with them then when Nick gets home we'll go for a walk (probably more than 1 lap) and then we'll run around outside til its time for them to go to bed. I'll probably fall asleep while we are waiting for their parents to get home. Nick hardly sleeps anyway so he'll be up if they stir. It'll be busy.

Day 83 Thank You

Only 9 more days and I'll have officially been here for 3 months. Yeah me! I have lost 13 pounds since being with Sparkpeople and have reached my goal weight. I like the way my body looks more and more each day. It helps my clothes are practically falling off since I was 165 pounds right after christmas. I had already lost 20 before even finding out about Sparkpeople. I want to thank my Sparkfriends for making this a fun journey. I hope everyone knows how much I care and I want to cheer you all to your goal weights. If anyone needs anything just ask or blog or post. I try to check daily. I did a 10 minutes .6 mile walk this morning. Mondays are tough for my my busiest day of the week at work. I did a total of 80 minutes yesterday and will do more when ever I get home tonight. Boss is out of town so I'll have a quieter busy today. See you all tomorrow. Have a great day! emoticon emoticon

DAY 82

OK THE RACE ISN'T OVER YET BUT I'M GOING TO START COOKING DINNER DURING A COMMERCIAL SOON. I DID 40 MINUTES OF STRENGTH TRAINING AND 35 MINUTES OF CARDIO FOLLOWED BY ABOUT 10 MINUTES OF STRETCHING. BASICALLY 80 MINUTES. I ONLY COUNT STRETCHING AS 5 BECAUSE IT ISN'T STRENOUS.

    Wow! You are such a good example of exercising during a race. Sad to confess, but I took a short nap, and then had to drive my DD to work, so I had to listen to the race on the radio.
