WATKINS GLEN RAIN POSTPONED FOR NOW BUT NEEDED TO GET MY EXERCISE IN. I DID .9 MILE 25 MINUTE WALK EARLIER TODAY SO NOW I DID 20 MINUTES ON STAIRMASTER AND 20 MINUTES OF STRENGTH TRAINING. PLUS A GOOD STRETCH AFTER EACH.

SO I GOT UP THIS MORNING AND MADE AN EGGBEATER SOUTHWEST OMELET WITH BROCCOLI, MUSHROOMS, ONIONS, AND TOMATOES. THEN I WENT FOR A 10 MINUTES .9 MILE BIKE RIDE. MY HIP IS FINE WHEN I'M ACTIVE BUT WHEN I STOP FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME IT STARTS BOTHERING ME. LIKE IT TIGHTENS UP WHEN I'M NOT MOBILE. I GUESS ITS BEEN ALMOST 2 WEEKS I BETTER CALL THE DOCTORS OFFICE. I WILL DO MY STRENGTH TRAINING NEXT.I WANT TO GO GET MY HAIR CUT. I TOLD ROBIN I MIGHT GO TO THE PLAYGROUND WITH HER AND THE BOYS BUT SHE HAS TO WORK FROM 11-5. I WILL GET MORE EXERCISE EITHER WAY.

    Looks like you have a busy weekend! ( I'm looking out of the window by my computer and enjoying my "wet" yard. After 40+ days of over 100 degrees and no rain, it's a wonderful sight!).
Sounds like "keeping moving" is what you need, but be sure to add slowly and don't over exert yourself!!

DAY 94 PICS ON SPARKPAGE

I DECIDED TO POST SOME PICTURES ON MY SPARKPAGE THE LAST COUPLE DAYS THANKS TO ENCOURAGEMENT OF OTHER SPARKERS. I DON'T WANT TO SCARE ANYBODY THOUGH. SUGGESTIONS WELCOMEON EXERCISES I COULD BE DOING. SO TODAY I GOT MY 10 MINUTES ON THE STAIRMASTER AS WELL AS 15 MINUTES OF STRENGTH. MY STRENGTH I TRY TO MIX UP. I DO LYING ADDUCTION DAILY BECAUSE IT IS WHAT MY PHYSICAL THERAPIST HAS ME DO FOR MY KNEE. I DO SOME SQUATS, LUNGES, BICYCLE CRUNCHES, TRICEP DIPS, AND ALTERNATING BICEP CURLS. I JUST MIX THEM UP I WILL DO ALL OF THEM ON THE WEEKENDS BUT DURING THE WEEK I'LL DO 2 OR 3 EACH DAY. I DO BOTH STRENGTH AND CARDIO EACH DAY WHICH IS WHY I ONLY DO ABOUT 20-30 MINUTES OF CARDIO 10 IN AM AND 10 IN PMAND 15-20 MINUTES OF STRENGTH EACH DAY. I KNOW I NEED TO WORK ON MY BOTTOM.

    You seem to have a great regimen going. Do you use any weights in your strength training? If not, try some light weights at first (2 or 3 lbs) and work your way up. Also, how many reps of each execise do you do? You should be aiming for at least 8-10. I apply the philosophy that muscle burns fat (thanks to Chalean Johnson and Tony Horton). And when you strength train, it burns for a longer period of time after you finish exercising than cardio alone (which burns fat while your exercising).

Squats, abductors and lunges are great for your bottom too. Keep it up and you'll see results!!!!

SO THE LAST FEW DAYS MY HIP HAS BEEN SORE SO I TOOK IT EASY THIS MORNING. I DID A 15 MINUTE .9 MILE WALK. THEN I STRETCHED. I'M GOING TO HAVE BREAKFAST THEN GO GET MY ALLERGY SHOTS. AFTER THAT I HAVE TO GET MY PARKING PERMIT AT SCHOOL. I HAVE TO GET GROCERIES AND DO THE BANKING. THEN I CAN COME HOME HAVE LUNCH AND GO FOR ANOTHER WALK WITH ROBIN AND THE BOYS.

Day 92 Offical 3 Month Sparkanniversary

So I did 15 minutes on stair master with a nice stretch after. Its raining here so I didn't go outside this morning. I will post pictures soon to my page. I just did the few in my blog. I decided my trouble goal is cellulite loss. I still have wrinkled thighs. so that is my trouble goal to work on over the next months.
