I am so tired because I got home at 8:45 from class last night. Even though I'm on vacation I'm still up at 5 every morning. I sparked and relaxed for a while. Maybe I'll get a nap in later. I did do 30 minutes 1.5 miles followed by lying adductions, alternating bicep curls, tricep dips, planks, decline pushups, stretching including yoga.

You are doing gret in your workouts & I know your class is keeping you busy -

Enjoy your time at home - I also like to take naps - especially when I have to get up so early to walk in the morning.

I feel great right now. I got up at 5. I relaxed for over 1/2 an hour then had a wedge of watermelon. Then I sparked and drank my tea. Then it was time for a little exercise. I have decided I will do 120 minutes each day this week.

So I started out with a quick 10 minute 1/2 mile walk since it is pretty chilly out there right now. Its only 50 degrees. Then I came in and did my lying adductions and stretcing. I decided I was ready for breakfast and made an omelet. I am eating that now so after I finish my breakfast I will relax some more since I'm on vacation and then get another 90 minutes of cardio in.

    Wow - day 488? I bow to you - I walk/run a LOT but I do take a day off every now and then!! That is amazing!! About walking in cooler weather, have you ever tried arm warmers? I LOVE them!! I started my 93 minute walk this morning (it was 57 degrees with sun) wearing arm warmers and some thin nylon gloves. When I began to get warm I pushed them down to my wrists and when that got warm I removed them and tucked them through the band of my fanny pack. When I got a little warmer I removed the nylon gloves and hooked them in a safety pin (think diaper pin) that I keep attached to the side of my little fanny pack for just that purpose. I ended my walk comfortable and barely sweating! (Its 72 degrees now and I'm heading out to do 3 more.)

It is so nice to not have to do exercise before it gets light out this week will spoil me. I have a tendency on the weekends to relax and spark in the early hours then eat breakfast and start my exercise closer to 7:30 when I go back to work I am at work already by then. Today I made blueberry pancakes.

I figure I'm going to max out my fitness minutes every day this week and if I have extra energy I'll do even more. I will try different things this week.

I started with a 10 minute 1 mile bike ride to get my heart rate up. Then I did my lying adductions and some pushups which the cat decided to sit under my face while I was doing them so I had to make sure I was very careful not to squish her. It also helped my allergies since I am allergic and I immediately had to use my medicine. Then I pulled a few new exercises off the spark fitness page. I forgot to stretch better do that now before my muscles get cold.

So I didn't record any cardio yet. I weighed in and gained the pound I had lost in the last 2 weeks and did my measurements. After sparking and eating a wedge of watermelon I walked to the corner store and back to get some Bingo scratchers since I'm on vacation this week and will have some time for a little fun.
This got my heart rate up a little to do my strength training. I did lying adductions, bicycle crunches, tricep dips, squats, modified planks, modified pushups, alternating bicep curls, banana, back extensions, and stretches for a total of 60 minutes. I will have my breakfast now and then after I'm done with the sheets and blankets washing and drying I will do 60 minutes of some kind of cardio.

I HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO YET TODAY BUT ITS 6:15 AND JUST GETTING LIGHT. I DID 5 MINUTES ON STAIR MASTER FOLLOWED BY LYING ADDUCTIONS AND SOME STRETCHES. WILL FINISH WHEN I GET HOME.
