Well...I made it into my second trimester. I'm into week 18 and have gained 10 pounds. I have gained more then I would have liked but it's my own fault. My morning sickness has gone and my appetite is back! I have been eating more calories then the doctor recommended and still not always keeping to my minimum 30 minutes of exercise per day. But I had a thought the other day that helped to get me back on track. I just thought about about how horrible I would feel if I gained so much weight that it made the delivery harder or could cause any kind of health risk to my child. So I've been focusing on exercising and eating closer to my calorie guideline. I have been tracking daily and have been consuming more fruits, vegetables, protein and calcium. I'm going to take this one month at a time. This month I just want to focus on doing better then next month I can start to set some goals for myself.
I'm starting to get super excited! In 13 days I have my ultrasound and hopefully will find out if I'm having another boy or a girl. I can't wait!! No matter what...I know that Zach will be a great big brother. He's starting to look like such a little man. He's already 16 months and is running all over the house, investigating everything. Has to know how everything works.
