New challenges

Well I made it back from St Louis! I wasn't sure I would!
They had a major sleet/snow storm and my flight was delayed 4 hours, but the problem was DC is getting the weather now! But I made it without any further incidents!
So I'm back home, I'm regrouping and I'm going to be kicking butt!
I feel strong and ready for challenges
I joined the bootcamp challenge and am doing the 28 day, coach Nichols video!
I'm also doing the Because I Can challenge!
This challenge will motivate me in other areas of things I want to get done besides diet, things around my house I have been putting off, or reading a book, and you earn trophies for doing what you should already be doing!

    New challenges are great and as you know I joined the Because I Can Challenge too. I just can't figure out how to put them in the goal section. If you know - let me know please. I find it really keeps me organized and getting things done. I also noticed you are reading the bible - something I would like to do as I slow down from work. Won't be for awhile. Wishing you many blessings and really appreciate our Spark Friendship.

Well Spark Friends, I'm finally moving my butt again!
And it feels good!
I know we all go through this, but I never thought it would happen to me, I was so happy working it !
It scared me!
I just wanted to tell you what motivates me now, I really love the new way Spark is posting the monthly workout minutes within your friends, it gives me some motivation with competition!
And I also was given a Spark Activity Tracker by a dear Spark friend and those are also posted!
This is working for me right now, so everyone keep looking for what motivates you for no matter how long! And take it!

Can't get it back!

I don't know about everybody else, but the holidays are very hard and very fun!
The problem is there is so much good food and relaxation going on that by the time it's over, I've gained weight and can't seem to get back into a routine! And I'm SOO tired!

So I decided to force myself into drinking my green smoothies, which give me energy. I can eat healthy, but I can't seem to move my butt! I guess I sunk into a nice relaxing life again!
Need help, need to get back into a routine!
So tonight I made an hourly schedule, hope I can follow it, at least most of it!
Really just talking to myself!
I gained 6 pounds, which is less than I thought so that's good!
I will get there!

    Just 10 minutes a day will get you started. Housework can count as exercise, it is listed as heavy cleaning.

    I try to meet friends to walk several times a week.
this gets me going then I keep doing activities until I meet my exercise goal.
Last week I walked around in Costco until my fit bit buzzed... it was more interesting than the gym.

    Hope you are back on track! It is so hard getting back to it. I know what you mean about the green smoothies, they give me almost instant energy! I should try them again too!

    I think many, many, many of us are right there with you. Drawing up a new plan for the new year, and making the plan is more than half the battle, I think. You can do it! Put it on paper and check off every time you accomplish as scheduled. You'll be back at it before you know it!

    I completely understand what you are going through! I also slowed down and enjoyed my holiday season a little too much! Getting back on track is pretty tough. Iím grateful though because they just started a Biggest Loser competition here at my job so there is a lot of support right now. Many folks already were taking steps last year to improve their health but now we have more incentive and more participants.

Anyhow, good luck with getting back on track (as are the rest of us!). I know you are going to be very successful in 2014!
