Back On Track

My hubby and I are back on the Fitness track! Woo Hoo!

I have lost some weight and some inches!

Discovered Body Pump class at my local Fox Valley YMCA and continuing Zumba and Spin Classes.

Tracking my Nutrition and Fitness, and not ashamed of the results either!

Somehow this feels right this time!

The hubby is my fitness buddy and although he does not track anything having him exercise with me and both of us trying to eat right really is a great help!

I am in the Spring into Shape Bootcamp Team with SP and that is helping keep me accountable too!

Sparking along!

OK I am back Sparking along again! Wake up call through the Healthe Measures program for me and my spouse so we are hitting the YMCA daily and improving our nutrition choices. I am tracking again on Sparkpeople because when I looked back my active time on Spark correlate with me losing weight! Imagine that!! emoticon

My teams have continued on and I feel like I am catching up on people that I used to communicate with o a regular basis, looking for that much needed support!

I have signed up for a Sprint Triathlon and am using that to motivate me to continue healthy choices in eating and exercising.

I am feeling better and less winded already, the YMCA welcomes me back and seeing people I knew and making new friends too!

Life is a journey and I am a part of that !

5 Things That Motivate Me to Make Healthy Choices:

1. I am a Cardiac Nurse who helps with Stress Tests almost on a daily basis and frequently with Cardiac Catheterizations,( Heart Angiograms). seeing people on a daily basis who are really ill and frightened, talking to them and encouraging them motivates me to NOT go there! When I first started with stress tests I had NO comfort with treadmills, I do NOW!

2. My husband and children, family that I want to see and enjoy!

3. Canoeing, kayaking, skiing I want to be able to do these with ease, enjoying my time and not worrying about getting hurt or huffing and puffing, slowing everyone down!

4. To have no pain, to have my joints, fet, legs to feel good, to feel fit!

5. To have a wonderful sense of being well, in body mind and spirit!
