it was only a day and a half! Compare it to your whole life! It is okay. Forgive yourself and talk to yourself the way you would talk to someone if they were the one that did it. Just let it go and dont look back!

We all fall off the wagon, at times, just keep going. Is there a reason you do raw? Is it a medical reason. I have noticed a lot of MS, and people with gluten problems are doing this. eva

I no longer say I am 100% anything, I eat for health and healing. It allows me flexibility and strength to grow. Been there, had the pressure, dropped out and rose again to a better day. We all have! emoticon emoticon

Brush yourself off and get back on that wagon! We all stumble and fall, but the success comes when we admit our failures and work to improve our effort!

    You are not a failure!
You accomplished a lot!
I do not eat 100% raw, a small handful of people do.
I find I eat healthier when I do add in some cooked.
Give yourself permission to be amazing, because you are!

Check these easy going lovely people out, as well google Raw until 4.
Another exciting idea. I think the most important part of this journey is joy and peace!

You can do it, Delcie! Have you noticed if there is something in particular that causes you to fall off the wagon? Maybe certain thoughts or things that happen right beforehand? I thought I was doing great, too, but I just had a horrible weigh-in, so I need to try to figure out where I screwed up at. I know some people keep a food journal and write down what they're thinking or feeling right before they eat, whether they're staying on track or veering off course. Maybe that would help you if you tried doing that for a few days. No matter what, though, I am here for you, so don't lose all hope. Start fresh now! Love you...

Three weeks and still going...

Sunday, March 30, 2014

I've been eating raw for a little over three weeks now and I'm loving it. emoticon I'll admit I do get cravings, but not very often. I'm finding the longer I go, the easier it gets. I have also learned to always take some food with me, whether it's some nuts or an apple...or whatever. I even have my kids eating more raw foods. The other day my 4 year old ate a banana, an apple, and an orange. Well, she ate half of each and I ate the other half. I'd rather her eat half a fruit than a whole cookie. emoticon

I do raw juices, mostly vegetable juices. I never do fruit, unless it's with protein, and I try not to go over the amount of 1 fruit, or 2 1/2's. Other wise it spikes your blood sugar. I was just wondering, is there a medical reason you are doing raw? I think a lot of people don't know all the symptoms of Celiac disease, and wheat or gluten. the problems like MS, bi-polar some what. migraines, & lupus are some how related. Wheat or gluten is in all types of sauces, frozen, and even mouth washes. take care, eva emoticon emoticon

I would love to be able to do that. My juicer broke yesterday and now I am forced to eat all of those veggies instead of juicing them. How did you start eating raw? Please leave your response on my sparkpage thank you. Great Job Your family is living the way the Father intended that is definitely the way we will probably be eating in heaven.

Great! Is this a cleansing diet or do you add other foods to it? I guess it's good for us as long as we add nuts and high protein veggies, etc. If it's working for you, that's what matters.

I love it!

Monday, March 17, 2014

I haven't had a cell phone in a few years. I recently got one ~~ found out it was cheaper than having a land-line. Well, I love my new iPhone. I have downloaded all these great apps. I think my top 3 favorites are quite simple.

1) My "Raw Food" app lets me track how many days I've eaten raw. It has a calendar and all I have to do is tap the day and it marks it for me. I can see how many days I've eaten raw.

2) My "weight diary" app lets me track my weight ~ nice and simple.

3) My "Daily Water" app is a simple app that allows me to tap on glasses to track how much water I'm drinking.

All the apps are very simple, but so very helpful.

I have cut way back on my landline. I live in the part of my city where within one mile in every direction is another city. ATT is trying to charge me like it is long distance, 12 minutes for $58.00. Well now I only pay $29.00 or $19.00 a tear with the majic jack. As far as my cell phone, no it burns thru money even faster than my landline. I put $10.00 in for three months. I don't make any personal calls with it. I had it for when my older car would break down. Then I just kept it cause I now have a new car. But when I use it a few minutes, I notice it went down $4.00 and I hadn't been on it for even 1/2 hour. So I guess you should really see which plan you have. is the one your on Verison? Who gives you such a good deal, cause I would like to switch also. Majic jack, you always have to have your computer on for you to use it. And then I always have to sit at the computer, not have the convenience of walking around with the phone. Or getting it in different rooms in the house. Plus you can't use the majic jack out and about. eva

Glad you are happy with IPhone . I still prefer a land line and share an old flip cell phone with my husband actually really only used so rarely it only costs $100 a year.. Land line about $15 a month and that includes free long distance in North America, so pretty sure we will keep it.

My week of raw

Sunday, March 16, 2014

For the past week, I've been eating all raw food and loving it. I still drink coffee (with coffee-mate) and soda ~ baby steps. I'm finding that I have more energy and simply feel better. I'm also learning to create some very yummy creative dishes. I'm also learning to relike fresh fruits and veggies. Sometimes, nothing tastes better than an apple or orange.

I think raw is pretty interesting. Is there a certain regiment that you follow? Where can I look it up? The closest I make in raw, but it isn't totally is raw cauliflower with spinach & yogurt dip. I like lettuce wraps that are steamed with veggies & sweet & sour sauce, too.I do like vegetable juicing, or with protein. eva emoticon

That is so great. And I truly know what you mean about having that perfect piece of fruit that, in the moment, truly can rival a piece of chocolate or something with empty calories.

You're doing well ! Never doubted it for a minute.
