Only Water February

Monday, February 03, 2014

Well I have picked up a horrible habit again SODA. So I have decided that February will be a only water month starting today. Any drink I have will only be water until March 1 and hopefully at that point I can continue the good habit but for now baby steps :-)

I went cold turkey on this. I don't flavor my water at all. For me it has to be super ice cold water for me to drink plain water but so far so good I haven't wanted anything else and the kids have seen me do this and they have actually picked it up and started grabbing a glass of water as well instead of anything else.

Yes! That is a great goal. It's funny - the men in my family all do a "no alcohol February". They sure are happy when March rolls around. I bet you'll do well with the water - it's all I drink any more, but I do buy the flavored drops to put in the water. Makes it a lot easier to drink a ton of it. I used to use Dasani but found Sweet Drops made with organic stevia. Still getting used to the taste, but they are all natural, while Dasani still puts some junk in theirs.

Anyway, good luck this month! I know you can do it :)

giving up soda is very hard it took me awhile to kick the habit. are you trying to quit cold turkey? or are you going gradual? for me it was hard going cold turkey but going gradual helped me a lot more. I would do baby steps

Are you ready for 2014?

Saturday, December 28, 2013

Hey everyone!!
Are you ready for 2014?

We all have the same goals - to lose weight and keep it off.

What I want to know is are you actually ready to make the changes you need to in 2014 to achieve this?!?

I have slacked recently and sadly I gained some of the weight I just worked so hard to lose. I know for a fact I need to make some changes for 2014 so this doesn't happen and I can achieve my goals to become healthy. It is so easy to say YES I CAN DO IT but not do anything really. I find myself being a victim of this sometimes but I need to take the stand to make changes for 2014. Are you ready to make the needed changes too??

i need to make so many changes that i won't be me when i finish, or do i really? what am i changing and for whom? i've been doing this for 60 years and i still haven't managed to tie down that question. it always seems to be for someone else, and that is not authentic. i need to lose weight for my health, but i don't want to. i want to be healthy, but i also want to spend more time reading.

Happy When I Weighed Myself Today

Thursday, December 05, 2013

When I weighed myself this morning I was actually happy I got on the scale after I saw the amount. I am down to 198 lbs.!! At the beginning of November I weighed 218 lbs. I have dropped 20 pounds with hard work and determination that just shows if you actually put in the effort you can do it. I have only 18 pounds left to lose to meet my first goal of weighing 180 lbs. then I will move onto my second goal of 150 lbs. I am so happy today!!

Day 20 of my challenges

Wednesday, December 04, 2013

Today is day 20 of my 30 day challenges and I am still going strong!! Today is a total REST day no crunches no squats so I will be using the break time to doing some extra school work. I have seen amazing results with these challenges. Since I began these challenges in the beginning of November I have lost a total of 14 pounds so far!! I have only 10 days left of these challenges before they end I cant wait to see what my total weight loss will be for them.

Don't Worry I am Still Here & Working Out Daily!!

Sunday, December 01, 2013

Sorry I haven't been posting lately any new blogs to update you on my workouts or life in general. I started school last week and my boutique has been blowing up with business because of the upcoming holidays.

I am still doing my daily workout routines and loving them. I see more results every day I cant wait until I reach day 30 so I can start a new routine. I may even start the crunch one all over again!!

Thank you both for your replies. It is great hearing from you. I have seen amazing results from sticking to my goals and I don't think I would have it any other way I have always veered off track but this time I wrote a chart with day by day instructions for what I will do as far as my challenges and put it on my wall in my bathroom by my scale which has helped me stick to my goals.

I totally understand where you are coming from! Sometimes we get busy and we can't always get on to post. It doesn't mean we are off track it just means were busy doing the things that keep on us on track. Keep up the great work! emoticon
