So I have tracked my food for about a week now and I know what I am doing wrong. I am finding all the food in my house and eating it. I know many of you will have a problem with me keeping junk food in the house but I am not sure I will ever plan to change that. I must learn self control, right?
So in the evening I make poor choices. I make poor choices in the day too but the evenings are much worse. It happens right after the kids go down and I put my feet up. My hubby & I curl up to watch some of our saved tv programs. Then he gets up to snack on a few cookies and he is so kind to bring me a few. It would be rude to turn him down, right? Then he will grab a bag of chips from the snack cabinet and I will put my hand in a couple of times and join him. Or was it 20 times? Well It doesn't count if I don't record it on sparkpeople, right?
So I need to get better food in my pantry to select from AND I need to start a hobby during tv night. I am thinking that knitting will be good to pick up again. I also notice that when I log my food daily, my hubby snacks less. Coincidence? I think not!
PS My 2 year old requested that she have carrots and hummus tomorrow. I guess we will go shopping...
