As an amendment to my last blog - I went on the LULU website and discovered the pants that I got (Wonder Unders in the new Full-On Luon) are actually meant for yoga/gym/to and from wear - which could explain they could not hold up (haha) under the pressure of my jiggly jogging. Will keep trying out the whole walk/jog/shuffle thing, but in the meantime I think I want to get back to my Jillian Michaels 30DS...

    lol I bought a BUNCH of capris and after a week of wearing them they fall off when I jog

I went for a walk/jog/shuffle yesterday when I got home from work. My thanks to LILPIXIE55 for the "Just Do It" Nike style encouragement :) I did the first C25K workout of a 5 min warm up walk followed by 60 sec. jogging then 90 sec. walking intervals for 30 min. I will say that for the first half of the walk/jog/shuffle I was doing pretty good with the jogging intervals, but the outside edges of my feet started to HUUURT and I got the WORST stitch in my side! I stopped to stretch out my feet and sides some and continued, but for the return half of the walk/jog/shuffle it was strictly walk/shuffle, I could NOT get my feet to pick up the pace. by then end of the walk/jog/shuffle I was actually whimpering, that is how badly my feet were aching! Also I found that, while my new LULU pants fit AMAZINGLY and feel so nice, they would not stay up during my jogging intervals, I don't know if this means that they are slightly too big (which wouldn't be too bad as I ordered the 12) or slightly too small (which would be incentive to get my ass in gear LOL) Either way, the are probably going to be my new wear everywhere including running pants, in which case I feel like I should probably buy a second pair LOL

UGH - I was doing pretty good last week (although I need to retrain myself to be full on less calories) and then friday came. My friend was hosting a pool party and it was BYOB. So of course, it being a pool party, I wanted something fun and fruity to drink (that was not beer). 6.5 Bacardi Breezer Spritzers later, i was DRUUUNK! And I tell you, the rest of the weekend I wasn't feeling so hot, and was not eating properly or hydrating properly, so I am not going anywhere NEAR my scale for a few days until I can get my water intake regulated again LOL.

Also, I have a confession to make. I got all excited about doing the C25K program, and HAVN'T EVEN STARTED IT YET. The hubs and I went for a walk the other day, but that was it. So tonight, after work, I am just getting er DONE! I don't care if I flake out halfway through, or walk more than run, I AM GOING TO DO IT!

Taking my measurements yesterday was an eye-opener. I never in my life imagined that I would have a 39" waist, when I thought 31" was fat. My arms are bigger around than my neck. My gut is ginormous and my hips are 49"!!

I am done with being fat!

I am going to start walking again, and hopefully start running, and get back into the Jillian 30DS....

So my husband and I have decided to do a couch25k. I was all ready this morning to do my first walk/run interval workout (even had my running clothes set out from last night) and BAM! I woke up with a raging fever. Now, for some reason I have been battling this fever on and off for the past few days, but this morning was KILLER! And I still had to get up and drag my @$$ to work, as my husband is not working at the moment, so we cannot afford for me to take a sick day.

UGH!

Also, have gained back everything I had lost prior to my miscarriage. double UGH
