Emotional Eating

Tuesday, November 08, 2011

Emotional eating can happen when one is lonely or stressed out. There are times when life is tiring and you find that there is nobody to talk to or turn to. The goodness with Sparkpeople is that there will always be somebody to listen to you without criticising or judging you. Chances are there will be somebody who has already been through what you are going through. I am now learning to control my emotional eating but before Spark People, my consolation when stressed out or feeling low would be sweets, chocolates or salty snacks. emoticon Sparkpeople, I am really glad I joined you.

I completely agree with you. For me, once I got closer to God, I know that I'll ALWAYS have someone to talk to about my emotions and what I'm going through. HE's the best outlet! emoticon

Trouble Goal

Wednesday, October 26, 2011

My biggest trouble goal is waking up without hitting the snooze button. I have tried so hard but I am not able. In a week I only manage to go 2 days without hitting the snooze button. I want to try from tomorrow to see if I can do better than two days. Wish me luck!!!

You've written it down, now mentally commit, and track the days, once you get a good streak going, you won't want to break it!

I once had a friend with the same issue. She moved her alarm clock across the room so that she had to get out of bed to turn it off. For me it was going to be a little earlier, like only half an hour... that was years ago. Now I am always up VERY early, part of my DNA I think:) Wishing you much success... emoticon
