I have never stayed with an eating plan-diet- for three months in my 59 years. This time it is different because I am not on a diet--I am eating to live. The tools on the site are wonderful and it is great to get encouragement from so many of you. I have learned to take one day at a time. I don't think any of us are perfect everyday, but Sparkpeople helps us to be more responsible and honest with ourselves when we can tract what we are doing everyday. Although weight low has been slow for me, my clothes fit so much better, my exercise routines have evolved into new and wonderful areas and I feel wonderful. My cholesterol has decreased by 44 points and I feel so wonderfully different. Thank you and hugs to my wonderful friends and SparkPeople
Today, we got a new instructor for our water aerobics class and her name is Kim. I know the ladies will love her. Our other instructor left to go to work in a local tv station. Kim is friendly, from Florida and has three grown daughters. She and her husband relocated to Northeast Louisiana for employment reasons. She said that we will be doing "zumba aerobics" in our class--I can't wait.
Today is a good day after many days of cloudy days. Isn't this just like life, they are days when our problems seem to have no end, then there is a light at the end of the tunnel. We are not alone. Thank you, God for the light.
There are days when I am glad that they make "fat free greek yogurt". I am not vegetarian--not that there is anything wrong with Vegetarians--but fat free greek yogurt is a wonderful, tasty way to meet my protein requirements for the day. Go greek yogurt .
