scale!!! I lost 3lbs more for my weigh in for Tiger Monarchs!!! I can see myself losing more as I get the calories off from all that soda!!! What a weigh to wake up for!!! I cant wait!!!!!

TigerMonarchs and White Tigers first day with out soda!!

Today is my first day with out soda and been drinking my country time lemonade, and flavored waters. I am going to look into selzer water next time I go to the store with gramps.

I am still at 264 for the 3rd week for biggest loser and will be for tiger monarchs too. I am ok with this since I havent gained any so that is a good thing, Now just h;ave to figure out what to do with the hanging skin... may eventually have to have surgery.

Moms home so I have to go back to my room and do the rest of my walking so I dont have to hear her make remarks.I try to let it pass but sometimes it is hard to not let it bother me. She brings home a milkshake and eats in front of me all the time from work.

Now I am dealing with not losing anymore...skin just hanging down. Im impatient about the inches coming off. Any ideas on this to help me figure out what to do? I know it will take time to make it flatten down and be gone...

    When I first started watching what I eat and exercising, my husband's attitude was that it was okay for me but he wasn't changing. I just had to make the decision to do what I needed for me, even if that meant cooking different meals for him than I did for myself. I asked him to hide his junk food. I exercised even if he didn't join me. Sometimes I would give in and join him in something I shouldn't, but mostly I didn't. The more you start losing and getting into shape, the easier this all becomes. Instead of putting the focus on your mother's eating and comments, try to focus on how well you are doing.

Last summer, he broke down and asked for help. Now we are on the same page. We both have times when we splurge, but we come back to healthy ways.

About the loose skin, I have read that it takes 1-2 years for the skin to tighten up. Depending on age, how much you have lost, how many times you have gained and lost, etc., each person will have different results.

    I agree with GeminiSue. Sort of sounds like you need to be the good example here. Show your mom you are very serious about your new lifestyle change by eating 'healthily' in front of her! She may decide to join you and be your best cheerleader/workout buddy you ever had! I wish my mom took better care of her health.
We plateau sometimes, it happens. We just gotta' bust through somehow. It's our bodies trying to hold on to fat, as long as we don't stop working out, we'll get results. You hang in there, and remember, your so worth it! emoticon

Think of unhealthy foods like a poison to your body.
Think of healthy foods like a medicine to your body.

You can do this!
You can always go for a walk while she is sucking in those calories. Enjoy your adventures while gone. The beautiful Sky/Water/Grass/Sand, whatever you have. Say hello to a stranger and smile. Make it a happy time for you.

  I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL, I HAVE FRIENDS AT WORK WHO CAN REALLY COOK. THEY ARE ALWAYS OFFERING FOOD. THEY MEAN WELL, SOMETIMES I ACCEPT BUT MOST OF THE TME I DECLINE. emoticon ON LOSING WRIGHT!! emoticon

weight was 264 not 261. This week is the same weight 264. So I have updated and in reality I only lost 2lbs that week. But that is still a loss, and not a gain. My muscle mass was the same as what I figured up by hand last week. This one gives all that stuff.

I hate when that happens. but like i said i didnt gain or lose anything so that is good too!

I am now using the nutrition tracker on here because it syncs to the fit bit one, so much easier than typing it back out for showing my tracking!
