Today was a gorgeous day! So I took advantage of it and did some gardening. It took a lot of work to pull the weeds, plant the flowers, and lay some mulch, but the planter in the front of the house looks great... and now I am pooped! I am really paying for it. I am so sore! Oh well. It was good exercise, right?

This has been such a long week for me. I have been having the baby blues (we have been trying for nearly 2 years), my weight has done nothing but yo-yo between two pounds, and I feel like pigging out on chocolate. But the good news is it is suppose to be a beautiful weekend and I plan to get out in the fresh air to do some gardening and maybe jogging.

Nothing like a little sunshine to take the blues away.


Time Change

This time change has really been tough! I am trying hard not to break my healthy eating due to that, though. I stopped drinking coffee about two years ago and cut out empty calories and addicting caffeine.

I'll admit though, I will have a cup every so often as I do love the taste of coffee. I am just trying not to gravitate back to a habit because of the time change.

...Why do we even have the time change anyway?I really don't think we need it anymore.

    I'm still dragging a bit from the time change also. I switched to decaf a few months ago and had to get used to that but it's working for me now. I wish we'd stay on daylight savings time permanently. Have a good week!

emoticon Today I am not feeling very motivated. I need to do something to boost my mood... and that doesn't involve food. If anyone has any ideas, please pass them my way.

    Think of why you want to lose weight. Maybe set some goals for the next week. Do something you enjoy other than eat. Do something with your hands so you can't eat! I'm struggling somewhat too. Just keep plugging along. We're here for you!
