Finally under 209 even if it is only by one ;)

They say it doesn't matter what the number is on the scale just inches ..but I lost my measuring tape so the scale is everything to me ahhh! Lol.

Anyway hurray down a pound. New goals is:

Uno) workout 3-5 times a wk

Two) no tracking food for two wks concentrate on exercise and

Tres) do a blog at least once a wk

Yeay finally down another few pounds. I feel like I finally kicked my butt in gear and am now two pounds lighter. Still keeping track of calories and today my work out included biking to work and crunches, push ups, and weights.

Weee 211!

So finally a new blog and a new weight! I am typing with this with my tablet since I am waiting for laundry to finish so this won't be very long since its a bit uncomfortable to type on but I just thought to check in since it has been awhile :) New weight as of today is 211 though and that makes me sooooooooo happy. It is the lowest I have been so far on this journey and it sure as heck hasn't gotten any easier. I figured that losing 30 some pounds would make me a pro at losing weight now but sadly it is not so..I am STILL trying to figure it all out lol. However, new goals is 1) have a no accountability day, which means no tracking my food and indulging one day a week...was my health lady's idea so thought I would try it ;-) Number 2) Stay within my calorie budget 6 days a week! 3) Less frozen meals more home cooked wholesome meals :D

Okay ladies and gents will check in at another 2 weeks and hopefully at 209 then. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and 4th of July! emoticon


4/29/14 Weigh In-Check In Day!

Hello! Just another check in I weighed myself yesterday at 216.2 yeay! Down a pound again! Not as great as I hoped over the past two weeks but an improvement overall emoticon

New three goals is one, lose at least another pound by my next two week visit, two is to plan my breakfast and lunches so I can get better at planning meals, and three is when I get a sugar craving I drink chocolate milk or the organic fruit rolls..they are so DELICIOUS! emoticon

My bike got stolen last week from where I work which really bummed me out but I just got a new one and am getting used to it. I had a mountain bike and now I bought a schwinn city style hybrid bike with the the thinner tires so it's taking me a bit to learn about riding with thin tires. haha. Hope everyone had a great easter and have a great week! emoticon

4/14/14 checking in!

Had my next meeting and weighed in at 217! BUMMER! I gained a pound in the last two weeks since my last visit. That really helped reality set in of all the late night snacks and my uncontrollable binges I get. It really hit me harder then most other times. We spoke about new goals and today I finally bought myself a scale. In the last few months I have only been measuring some portions and estimating others since I don't have a scale but she convinced me to get one today so that I can more accurately measure my portions. So this two weeks goal is to better portion size and my personal goal is to lose at least another pound by the next two week visit. emoticon
The weather has been so emoticon these past two weeks in anchorage it is really starting to warm up and the daily bike rides are getting to be much more fun with the better weather. I switched my studded bike tires to my summer bike tires and it was AMAZING how different it feels now so much BETTER! emoticon

    I just came across your blog. Old habits are so hard to break. Good job for making a decision to change for the better. Your new journey starts today!

Also I know you said that you don't have a scale. I have been working a program called the 21 day fix. It comes with color coded portion control containers. You get a certain number of each container each day and you fill it up and you are good to go. You should check it out. Let me know if you have questions it could be exactly what you need to really kick it into high gear. It also comes with an amazing workout program that can be modified for any level! I'm on my second week now.
