SO I have been doing well keeping track of my calories which is awesome and I have mostly stayed within range so I am very satisfied with that. I have rode my bike to work these past two days and I got ANOTHER flat tire but fixed it AGAIN and I hope that it stays that way! (meaning that I don't get another flat tire) I have hope yet that I will lose some more weight here soon! I''m pretty pumped today because we had freezing rain today and I was the first one to make a track with my bicycle and quite possible the only one on my route cuz I didn't see anyone else's bike tracks ohh yea!
So again struggling these past few days however I have been consistent in weight so it's great that I haven't gained all the weight back but it sucks that I haven't lost much either. Today however I actually stayed on track! I ate within my calorie budget drank at least or really close to 8 glasses of water I kinda lost count. I went outside and played with my son for 30-40 minutes in the 10 degree weather and I even cleaned the kitchen and re organized my hallway closet YES! Not bad for today I must say and I am even writing a blog which is an awesome accomplishment

HELLO! I miss everyone it has been a very long time! Thank you to everyone who has been checking up on me and encouraging me! This has been a hard long few weeks. Eating raw foods is fantastic but very had to do with my budget and time so I eat raw whenever possible but I am not beating myself up about it.
I have lost a few more pounds which is very exciting although it still goes way up and way down A LOT! I am starting to count calories again. I wasn't doing that for a while but I am going to get back into it. I am still riding my bike to work which now takes almost an hour one way because of the winter conditions. I hope that I still keep on improving through the week.
Hey everyone! I hope everyone is doing well and having fun getting ready for Halloween! I just bought my son the hulk costume and I am going to be Mary Poppins haha! These past weeks have been really tough on me I haven't been eating as much raw foods as I used to. While eating mostly raw foods I reached my lowest point in my weight loss adventure which was 230 but now eating more cooked foods i'm back at 235 again! Jeez. It seems like this number wants to haunt me haha. Anyway I haven't given up and I keep trying and pushing myself everyday hopefully this week things will get better! I am pretty excited about some other things too! I bought myself a windproof biking jacket it's a bright green color and I got a base layer shirt and a fleece sweater and a skull cap. I am still learning about layers for biking in the winter and I hope that these things improve my comfort while biking. I was just using my heavy winter jacket and it was really hard to ride comfortably so I am super excited about my new wardrobe additions :D Have a great Halloween!
Hi everyone! I hope everyone is doing well I haven't heard from a few people which makes me worry about them and I hope that they are still continuing their journey and succeeding. It's been another long while yet again..sorry everyone but life is very busy for me most days and I don't get a chance to log on very often. Anyway onto the blog!
These past weeks have been full of ups and downs! I get so motivated to eat more raw foods and I do great for a bit and then I make a non raw meal for my boys and I can't help myself these days so I give in to what they are eating as well. Today wasn't so bad I had lots of fruits (grapes, apricots, mixed berries) and a yummy salad of spinach peppers, and cucumber with lemon juice and a raspberry dressing. I did however eat a hot dog, and some pancakes with maple syrup, popcorn, and spaghetti with marinara sauce. I feel really bad about not being able to stick to eating just a raw foods diet I know that it feels incredibly impossible but it's what I want to do and I just have to keep pushing myself to do better!
I think that maybe I need to increase my intake of fruits and vegetables so that I feel more satisfied and maybe make more raw meals for my boys as well in addition to their cooked foods. (they like cooked foods) I need to be more disciplined when shopping for groceries to make sure I am purchasing only healthy choices and I need to maybe even get more creative with my cooking
As for results I haven't lost any more weight I still going up and down on the scale and my inches I bet are still the same since the beginning of the month. I am biking to work everyday still and later today I have a 10 mile trip on my bike which is exciting I hope that the weather is good. In Alaska we have been getting snow in some places and here in Anchorage we have lots of wind with some showers. Talk to you all again for week 6 I hope to really kick butt by then!
