My cousin Al will be 49 this September and he is in remission from his cancer for the last several years. He plays in a baseball league in the San Diego area for the age group of 45 and older. They made it to the playoffs a few Sundays ago but lost the game to be champions. He said they have another chance in October to become champions. In my book he already is. During his series of chemo he never gave up and he pressed on to handle the effects of his chemo. I was there to help him through it. He now works out every day and keeps himself in shape to play baseball. I am very proud of him.
He was very happy to have his two nephews come and cheer him on during the 2nd game.
Umm - as you can tell Kittie is a Dodger fan & she loves to sun by the sliding door.
Flowers from my sister for mother's day & a very nice candle from my daughter Shelley for Mother's Day.
Then there is Jona with her serious face.
Went on a quick camping trip this weekend - near Bishop - - it was a nice weekend - warm - very relaxing - did walking in the morning and afternoon and especially to go to the restroom was a really good walk.
Came home and was glad to see my flowers did well even though I hadn't watered them for two days.
Back patio area. The dirt in my yard is so difficult to work with - also I have issues with roots. When I was trying to plant my little flowers it was hard - but I did it and I think it looks pretty good. When I water - I need to make sure it goes to the roots because when I dig around the dirt - it is dry.
