Take it from someone who spends a vast amount of her
day on a computer and she will tell you they do funny
things when left unattended. Case in point, I found that
I had picked up a virus and the computer wanted me to
purchase a special program to clean the virus out.
Well, fine and good if I wanted to spend $70 to $100
to purchase it. Fine and good if it didn't want a credit
card to pay for it. Fine and good if the credit card was
accepted. Not a chance, fellas! I went to a system
restore point and deleted whatever it was. Now that
may not fix everything but at least it left me get
back on the internet and finish the day, late but
at least done with the critical items that needed
to be done. Time will tell if my "fix" was good enough.
Also, DH expected me to force a program to accept
information when there was no possible way to do it.
I even called a member of the support team and
they told me it couldn't be done. Score one for
the person who works on the computer every day.
DH is gone until Saturday for a company convention.
I went along in the day when I had someone to
cover for me in the office. I don't really miss the
nuisance of trying to carry a conversation with
people what I have never met and have been drinking
up a storm just because the drinks are free. Just
not my scene. So I stay home to man the fort,
do the chores and spend my evenings decompressing
from the day and anticipating what comes tomorrow.
So, as fascinating as the computer is, sometimes
it needs a little help to get through the day.
That is where my SPark friends come in-helping
me get through the days and continue on my
journey. Thanks for being there for me and thanks
for stopping by. HUGS!
