Workout Games!

Hey all!
I'm doing a springing into fitness challenge on the Done girls team..
This means we have challenges every week to get into healthy habits!
This week's challenge is to create a workout game and do it at least 2 times this week.
However.. I am not so super creative and just found some on pinterest..
I found a Big bang theory workout game! (My favorite show!) That I think I may just get a lot of use out of!!
I also found a How I met your mother and Jersey Shore game.. I think I may have to invite my friend Lisa over to do the Jersey shore one! Woo!!

Long time no blog

Hello All!
Its been 2 months since I have written a blog entry.. Naughty!!
Things have been going ok weight loss wise. I have basically had to start over in 2013 because I lost all progress I started to make in November over the holidays. I am FINALLY getting back into the mind frame of making good choices food wise and exercising. I joined some challenges in the sparkteams and that helps keep me accountable.
Hopefully everyone else is having a good 2013!

    Glad to see you still at it though. We all slip up, but the difference between the ones who do lose the weight and keep it off is that they never give up. They keep getting back at it again. You CAN do it. Just keep picking yourself up when you fall.

Its been awhile since I updated the blog so thought I would post a new entry. Things are going fairly well in spark land. I lead a pretty boring life all in all. I have been wearing my little fitbit faithfully and have been doing pretty well tracking my food. I have been doing my 10 minutes of exercise a day, but not much over that unfortunately. The past couple days I've been slacking but I will get back on track! Hope everyone else is doing wel!!!

Small victories

Well.. The scale has not moved as much as I would like recently. However, I had a small victory today!! I had an absolutely HORRIBLE night at work last night. So of course the first thing I think about is making it better with food. However, I sat down to ride my bike for 10 minutes instead and ended up riding 25 minutes! Woo!!! Plus I didn't eat baked goods or candy to make myself feel better!! Kind of a big deal for me! Exited.

    That's great! Replacing emotional eating with exercise is a fabulous thing and is something I'm currently working on, so I understand what a huge acheivement this is!

Darn it thanksgiving!!!!

Well, Thanksgiving did me in you guys!!
I was so afraid it would too... I have a much harder time staying on plan when I go see my parents. My mother has always shown her love through food... Which is probably how I got this way... And she is such a great cook!!
Whenever we have get togethers, and especially when my husband is with, we go so overboard with the food in order to make it a special time. This thanksgiving was no exception!
I ate far too much for 2 days.. Then leftovers were sent home with me! So instead of eating healthy meals I have been having thanksgiving leftovers everyday... I need to get them out of the apartment or force my husband to eat them!!

Oh well... I will get back on plan and all will be well! Just not looking forward to my weigh in this week... Wish me luck!!!

    I was right their beside ya girl ! I was scared to start the day out and I was the one cooking. Soo most of the dishes were made healthier, but I still ate more servings than I was supposed to. ohh well, I enjoyed having my family around. Now lets get back on track before xmas dinner gets here ! lol

    sometimes life happens and we all want to make mom happy, but next time bring or make some healthier dishes so you can have a little of hers and a lot of yours hahahaha
You'll get back on track... bring a veggie platter for Christmas hahaha
