Do you work out hard enough? Do I work out hard enough? Sometimes I do, sometimes I know I don't. I could push myself just a little more. I need to push myself a little more to get the results I desire.
I've noticed that I can work out a little harder if the music is better. Try it, you'll see. Kick up your play list a notch.
Push through until you can achieve things you didn't think you could achieve. Then push a little more.
Sometimes we're so critical of ourselves. We can even be downright brutal. Let me ask you this: If your best friend told you on a daily basis that you were ugly, fat, grumpy, or [fill in the blank with a negative comment], would that person still be your best friend? Probably not!! I'd be telling her/him to take a hike!!
If you wouldn't let your best friend talk to you like that. Don't you talk to yourself like that!!
Stay positive. Practice positive self-talk. Every time you do some self-bashing, immediately apologize & replace the negative with something positive. If it helps, sit down & come up with a list of things that you like about yourself or that other people like about you & start with those.
